One of the most respected programs in the Nation, the Spartans have a big test this week against another State and National power with the Folsom Bulldogs hosting them. Like Folsom, De La Salle has FBS players of their own that are dominant with the likes of [player_tooltip player_id="25268" first="Zeke" last="Berry"], [player_tooltip player_id="144959" first="Cooper" last="Flanagan"], [player_tooltip player_id="25385" first="Dylan" last="Greeson"], [player_tooltip player_id="187239" first="Tyler" last="Henry"], [player_tooltip player_id="186999" first="Bryant" last="Meredith"] and [player_tooltip player_id="141922" first="Damonie" last="Perkins"], among others. Below, we will breakdown some of their other prospects that will make big time impacts in this head to head clash featuring the best versus the best.

LB Marley Alapati
Alapati plays on both sides of the ball for one of the Nations top teams and is only a Sophomore. From his linebacker position, he has a high football IQ and is a sure tackler in the open field, while taking good angles to ball carriers and exploding through contact. Showing strong COD abilities and able to cover backs out of the backfield, he should start to collect FBS and FCS interest as he moves into his Junior season following this Fall.
RB Zeke Barber
Barber is a tough and physical runner that is having a very good season thus far. He is a low to the ground explosive back that bounces off contact and always gains positive yards while displaying sneaky third level speed and good vision in traffic through the first level. More of a North and South back, he does show impressive lateral agility and under-rated short area quickness when running inside. Playing with a high motor and good toughness, he is one of the more under-rated backs in the Northern California region.
DL [player_tooltip player_id="187239" first="Tyler" last="Henry"]
Committed to Sac State, Henry is one of the regions best and is a dominant presence on the interior and off the edge of the defensive line. Very twitchy, especially for his size, he explodes off the ball and plays with tremendous pad level and a quick use of hands at the POA when rushing the passer from a edge. He shows good closing speed backside and is very technically sound in both the run game and when rushing the passer.
OL [player_tooltip player_id="169765" first="Derek" last="Thompson"]
Thompson is a mauling interior player that currently holds one offer from Nevada. During his Junior season, he has proved that he can block in the box/pull while also able to get to the second level and pass protect as well. He is very strong at the POA, punches through opponents and finishes blocks consistently while doing a good job at exploding through his hips and keeping a strong base through out the block. It should not be long until he reels in more FBS caliber offers.
