Chase Harrison Chase Harrison 6'3" | 215 lbs | QB Centerville | 2022 State OH – Centerville – QB – 6’3″ 205 lbs
Harrison is fantastic and he’s getting better. He’s getting better at anticipating and creating as he goes. His improvisation on the field is arguably his best trait on the field. He’s going to find a way to make a positive play. He threw a fantastic TD in the back of the endzone and that got him rolling on the night. He helped lead Centerville to a tough fought 28-21 victory.
Nicholas Bruder – Centerville – WR – 5’11″ 195 lbs
Bruder is fantastic in open space and he’s one of the best in the area at somehow finding the endzone when there looks to be no way he can get there. He found the endzone on a catch over the middle where he broke over 4 tackles and dragged a defender into the endzone for a score. He earned that TD and it was the final score of the game.
Drew Baker – Fairmont – QB – 6’0″ 180 lbs
Baker is an absolute baller who is hard to bring down when he gets into the open field. He’s going to run and throw all over the defense every week. His footwork could use some cleaning up but it’s just minor. Baker had a fantastic TD run where he lowered his head and bull-rushed 2 defenders to get into the endzone. He finished the night with over 250-yards and a TD.
Braxton Lawson – Wayne – RB – 5’9″ 180 lbs
Lawson is a stronger back and is able to run through most tackles and get the edge. He’s a strong runner and gets stronger as the game goes on. He has a habit of wanting to bounce it to the outside and press to see how much extra yardage he can get. He finished the night with over 150-yards.
Tyler Dorsey – Wayne – RB – 6’0″ 185 lbs
Dorsey is the speed and agility back and he had a massive game on Friday. These 2 backs create an elite combination that is incredibly hard to stop. Lawson is the gritty back who they use downhill and Dorsey is the zone runner. Dorsey is also the redzone back and is a bad man down in the redzone. He found the endzone twice on 2 fantastic runs and the crowd went wild.
