Bryan Kinley – Wayne – ATH
Kinley put on a show Friday. He started the show early by busting an 80-yard TD run. The entire offense revolves around him and getting the ball in his hands in space. He’s going to make something out of nothing and pick up big chunks. He put up over 200-yards on the ground as he ran all over the defense and led Wayne to an easy win on Friday.
Jordan Ward – Wayne – RB – 6’0″ 220 lbs
Ward and Kinley continuously put the defense in bad spots all night long. When they ran the read-option with Ward it got the defense every single time. Ward rushed for over 100-yards and had 2 TDs on the night. Both of his TDs were long runs sprung wide open off a read-option. He got to full speed in a flash and he’s not going down easily. He looked great and Wayne’s rushing attack made it look easy.
Evan Ruzzo Evan Ruzzo 5'10" | 175 lbs | QB Springboro | 2023 OH – Springboro – RB – 5’11″ 185 lbs
Ruzzo is dynamic in the running game and he caught the defense looking early. He took a carry 38-yards right up the middle for a TD. The entire defense had their backs turned and Ruzzo turned on the jets. He weaved through a few defenders before diving into the endzone. On the next drive, he delivered a TD strike and they went up 14-0. He stayed calm and collected all night as they duked out a victory.
Brady Ouhl – Piqua – QB – 6’1″ 165 lbs
Ouhl and Piqua continue to roll with ease. Friday was supposed to be an intriguing matchup but that didn’t happen. Ouhl got hot and lit up the defense all night. He threw a TD on the first drive of the game and never looked back. He stayed relaxed in the pocket and went through his progressions all night. It was really like 7 on 7. There wasn’t any pressure at all.
Adrian Norton – Stebbins – WR – 6’1″ 190 lbs
Not much went right for Stebbins offense outside of getting the ball in Norton’s hands. He’s great in the open field and isn’t going to be tackled without a fight. He also has the size and speed to go up and come down with the ball over defenders. He busted a long screen pass for a TD to get the scoring going for Stebbins on the night. Norton had just under 150 scrimmage yards on the night to go along with his TD.
