As the game of football continues to evolve, as does the athletes playing the game. Athletes are “next level-ready” earlier and earlier each season. For proof of that, take a look at how many true freshmen are playing on Saturdays in major conferences right away. Athletes only a few months removed from their senior prom are interjecting themselves into the conversations of who the top collegiate players are in the country.
