Bishop Luers @ Bishop Dwenger Offensive Highlights

The Game of the Week did not disappoint and we’re highlighting just a few of the best plays from Friday. Bohde Dickerson - Bishop Dwenger - QB - 6’4" 190 lbs This was my first time getting to watch Dickerson and he did not disappoint. He’s only a sophomore but he has plenty of time to learn and grow. He sees the field very well and can make most of the throws you need him to. They got him in a rhythm early and he kept it all night long. He trusted his eyes and put the ball where it needed to be most of the time. He’s confident in the pocket and delivered a few TD passes. Kj Tippmann - Bishop Dwenger - RB - 6’1" 205 lbs Tippman is a threat anytime the ball touches his hands. He’s extremely creative and will find ways to create positive yardage. He’s able to do it on every down and he’s never going to be tackled for a loss either. He found the endzone from 32-yards out on a beautiful run. He made a guy miss, broke another tackle, maintained his balance, and somehow made it into the endzone. He is the Saints workhorse back and delivers when they call his number. [player_tooltip player_id="98092" first="Carson" last="Clark"] - Bishop Luers - QB - 6’2" 180 lbs Clark definitely struggled early but he bounced back and then ended up having a great performance. Bishop Luers got to him early and had him rattled. The Bishop Dwenger coaching staff got him settled down and then Clark started dealing with a hot hand. Once he got rolling he looked great and had the type of performance you would’ve expected. He delivered 2 TDs on the night and kept throwing his receivers open. Sir Hale - Bishop Luers - RB - 5’7" 165 lbs Sir is one of the most dynamic players in the area and anytime he plays he’s going to make plays. Friday, that was no different. He led Bishop Luers on the ground again and he did it in style. He was making defenders miss and bouncing it outside. He found the endzone early in the game and kept applying the pressure. He was even better out of the backfield this week and he’s only getting better as the weeks go by. [player_tooltip player_id="185211" first="Jayden" last="Hill"] - Bishop Luers - TE/DE - 6’0" 210 lbs On a night where the passing offense was slow to start, it relied on Hill and he came through in a big way. He doesn’t run a very deep route tree but when they get the ball in his hands he is a monster. He runs angry and like he wants to hurt the opposing defender. He’s going to fight for every yard when he’s out there as well. He isn’t the most explosive player but he was the steady hand when they needed it Friday. He found the back of the endzone for a score when they needed it as well to take the lead.
