What is the “It Factor” that question is probably the hardest question in football to answer and is only defined when you see it. Its not necessarily any one thing but more of a combination of many, its like anything great you cant put your finger on it you just know it when you see it. this week in true Prep Redzone Tradition I have dug deep to uncover six Quarter Back’s from the 1B Southwest that Colleges better pay attention to.
Division-1B Washington State
Fun Fact- The Washington 1B Division is by in large located in small town Washington and they take as much pride growing their QB’S as they do with their cooking, friends and farming.
Westley Bryan- 190lb 5ft-11In Freshman QB
School- Rosalia/Tekoa Timberwolves (Rosalia, WA.)
Fun Fact- This kid is a 14 year old TRUE FRESHMAN !!
Skill set- Work Ethic, Composure, Instinct and Plays hard he will run you over or pass he doesn’t care because he does both very good and shows Leadership that I have never seen from a freshman.
College Style- (Big Ten) Michigan Wolverines
Trent Gwinn- 175lb 6ft Senior QB
School- Pomeroy Pirates (Pomeroy WA.)
Skill Set- Speed, Instinct and a great feel for the game. A true competitor.
College Style- (Big 12) Oklahoma State Cowboys
Dash Bosma- 170lb 6ft 1in. Junior QB
School-Sunnyside Christian Knights (Sunnyside, WA.)
SkillSet -Toughness and ability to run leads by example on and off the field.
College Style-(SEC) Texas A&M Aggies
Dane Isaac- 160lb 5ft 9in Senior QB
School- Almira- Coulee- Hartline Warriors (Coulee City, WA)
Skill Set- Understands football, Explosive Runner and most importantly commands the huddle like a 5 star general.
College Style-(Mountain West) San Diego State Aztecs
Joe Strange- 165lb 5ft 7in Senior QB
School- Naselle Comets (Naselle,WA)
Skill Set- Game Changer when you need somebody or something the most he is your guy.
College Style-(Pac 12) Oregon Ducks
Collin Martin- 160lb 5ft 11in. Junior QB
School- Odessa Tigers (Odessa, WA.)
Skill Set- Precision Passer good vision and cuts and moves and I mean moves.
College Style-(Big 12) Oklahoma State Cowboys
In conclusion we all love the cinderella story maybe that may be the 1B Division ( maybe not ) that’s for you to decide but one thing that this division does offer is good hard hitting football and players like Westley,Trent, Dash, Dane,Joe and Collin.
