The ability to move the ball through the air is crucial to winning big games down the stretch. With big play wide receivers, that becomes a much easier task. Today, we will look at how the top three wide receivers in the Class of 2024 have been doing this season. All three have the potential to be key contributors for their teams as they look to make runs well into November.

Braunte Johnson Braunte Johnson 6'3" | 170 lbs | WR North Side | 2024 State IN is a dynamic playmaker, capable of providing great contributions on both offense and special teams. In the last two games against Homestead and South Side, Johnson has done well stretching the defense vertically. He has made some highlight reel grabs that resulted in touchdowns. Johnson can get good separation but he can also adjust to the ball. He has shown the ability to win a 50-50 ball. So far this year, Johnson has 283 receiving yards on 27 receptions to go along with three touchdown catches. Johnson also has over 350 total return yards and he returned a missed field goal for a touchdown back in week 1 against Snider.

Stevens has a great frame for winning a contested ball. His reliability will continue to serve him well in the years ahead. Also helping Stevens is his versatility. He has the ability to play defensive back as well as wide receiver. That flexibility can allow to contribute to the team in different ways.

Edmond has great speed, making him a tough matchup for anybody, especially in man coverage. Edmond is a good route-runner, using his speed and awareness to get open. He also exhibits good body control. Edmond can be a receiver who shows off the toe drag swag in front of the sidelines for Warren Central. Edmond can also be impactful running the ball.
