Nick Morrow Nick Morrow 6'8" | 255 lbs | OL Flagstaff | 2022 State AZ , OL, Flagstaff
Morrow is an exceptional athlete for his size at 6’8” 250 lbs. He plays DE/TE for Flagstaff where he can make the most of his athleticism and natural movement skills but projects as an OL next year when he gets to Cal. That could all change depending on how he continues to develop and mature but his combination of size and athleticism is extremely rare. On both sides of the ball he shows great short area quickness, body control, and lateral agility. You’ll consistently see him chase down ball carriers from his DE spot and go up and attack the ball at the high point playing TE. He’s an instinctive player that plays physical, aggressive, and through the whistle. Pulled in offers from Baylor, NAU, and UNLV before committing to Cal in late August.
Excited to announce that I am committed to @CalFootball. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along this amazing journey. @RagleCharlie @FlagstaffEagles @tlhanley9 @QBCoach_Buckley @AnointedAthlet1 pic.twitter.com/IThnxWqd2F

Michael Masunas Michael Masunas 6'5" | 250 lbs | TE Hamilton | 2022 State AZ , TE, Hamilton
The Michigan State commit is the top ranked TE in the state. His recruiting stock and ranking has continued to rise as he’s developed and showcased his ability as both a pass catcher and a blocker. Possesses great size, frame, and length for a Power 5 TE at 6’5” 240 lbs. He has always been a strong receiver with confident hands and good body control to track/adjust but he has shown the most improvement in his speed, bend, and overall mobility. His movement skills allow him to be an effective blocker in space and make big plays after the catch. Demonstrates his athleticism after the catch with his ability to make defenders miss in the open field or jump over them. Pulled in 13 D1 offers before committing to Michigan State in June.

Blaine Hipa Blaine Hipa 6'2" | 200 lbs | QB Chandler | 2022 State AZ , QB, Chandler
Hipa won the starting job after transferring in from Hawaii and has performed extremely well throwing for over 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns in his first four games. The lefty has a great combination of natural arm talent and mechanics that allows him to make strong accurate throws all over the field. The game comes very naturally to him evident by his ability to improvise and create plays on breakdowns using his savvy athleticism and mobility. As a passer, he shows a great ability to mix up velocities and hit his targets in stride with good timing both in the pocket and on the run. The 6’2” 200 lb. QB has been offered by Hawaii and Tennessee so far.
4 game Mid-Season Highlight.
1091 Passing Yards
14 Passing Touchdowns

Alexis Sanchez Alexis Sanchez 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Mountain Ridge | 2022 State AZ , OL, Mountain Ridge
The big offensive lineman is finally receiving the recruiting attention he deserves after racking up six offers over the summer. His list now includes San Diego, Lehigh, Drake, NAU, Georgetown, and Morehead State. At 6’3” 300 lbs. he possesses a massive frame with the added length that colleges look for, measured in with a 78 inch wingspan. He has a well-balanced build with a strong lower half. This season, he has shown good improvement in his foot speed, bend, and mobility. Still carries that same brute strength and leg drive at the POA to overpower opponents upon contact. Great technique, he plays with good leverage and balance, rarely see him too high or outside his framework at the contact point. One of the top offensive lineman in the state with great versatility to play multiple positions on the offensive line.

Kaden Hicks Kaden Hicks 6'4" | 260 lbs | OL Mountain Ridge | 2022 State AZ , OL, Mountain Ridge
Hicks recruiting is heating up with his first D1 offers recently coming in from Morehead State and Valparaiso, in addition to his many D2/D3 offers. Has a strong physical skillset at 6’4” 265 lbs. with plus flexibility and movement. Shows he can use that mobility to be an effective blocker at the second level and on the perimeter. Gets good movement/push on his drive blocks and has always been a violent finisher at the POA. He’s quick out of his stance and understands how to use his hands to his advantage with a strong initial punch. Love his controlled but physical and aggressive style of play. Expect the offers to keep rolling in as he’s able to showcase his ability.

Chris Thomas Chris Thomas 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Cactus | 2022 State AZ , WR, Cactus
Thomas made a huge jump in the rankings and cracked the top 100 after showing great year over year improvement and pulling in five offers including FCS programs Morehead State and Morgan State. The speedster is a gifted athlete and an explosive playmaker in all three phases. Projects as a college WR where he flashes a great drive phase off the LOS that can quickly close space and break DB cushion. As a route runner, he does a good job mixing up his releases and is smooth in and out of his breaks. He’s creative and can easily separate using his speed and burst to attack the defense at all three levels. Colleges love his ability after the catch, he’s a threat to score every time he touches the ball.
AGTG! After a great conversation with @CoachMicahJ , I’m Blessed to say I’ve received my second D-1 , 5th total offer to play for Morehead State University! @CHSCobraFB@JosephO24 @CoachPerrone pic.twitter.com/ixYUkhr6tR
