1. Oak Grove (2-0)
The Warriors have been as good as advertised leading up to the season. The defending state champs knocked off Hattiesburg 27-0 last week and have now outscored opponents 70-7 thru 2 contests. The biggest game of the week is on tap for Friday with talent displayed all over the field against Greenville Christian.
This week: vs. #6 Greenville Christian
2. Madison Central (3-0)
The Jags make the leap this week to the number 2 spot after a dominating win over Northwest Rankin last week. The Jags get the week off before kicking off division play next week in an always interesting test with Starkville in Region 2-6A.

3. West Point (1-2)
Coach Chris Chambless finally got his Green Wave on the field last Friday after the team had an early season bout with Covid-19. The bunch from Clay County took it to Noxubee County in a traditional rivalry matchup to give the Green Wave their first win of the season. An off week faces West Point before a huge matchup with powerful Lafayette County next week.

4. Ocean Springs (3-0)
The Greyhounds continued their momentum last week hanging 51 points on the board to win at George County. Bray Hubbard Bray Hubbard 6'2" | 175 lbs | QB Ocean Springs | 2023 State MS had 3 more TD passes and David Humphries went for 181 rush yards in the dominating win.

5. Oxford (2-1)
The Chargers fall from their spot at number 2 for the first 3 weeks after last weeks 28-14 loss at Ruston, LA. A perfect opportunity presents itself this weekend though as they face county rival Lafayette County from 5A.

6. Greenville Christian (3-1)
The talk of the state continues to be Greenville Christian. An opportunity emerges this week to face No. Oak Grove due to both teams schedules opening up with Covid cancellations. Athletes galore will be present under the lights of Oak Grove on Friday night.

7. South Panola (1-1)
The Tigers took to the road against Cordova, TN last week and dominated 42-6. For the first time in 2021 Ricky Woods will have his team playing on home turf against Clarksdale on Friday.

8. West Jones (1-1)
The Mustangs, due to Covid reasons, have not taken the field for live action since September 3rd but will do so this weekend against Wingfield. Keep an eye out to see how they perform after nearly 2 full weeks off before opening division play next week.

9. Louisville (3-0)
As expected, Louisville continues to play like the class of the field in 4A. The Wildcats beat up 5A Columbus last week 29-7 in a game that wasn’t as close as the scoreboard showed. Huge opportunity ahead against perennial 6A power Starkville.

10. Picayune (3-0)
The Maroon Tide posses one of the best offensive units in the south half and it showed in last weeks 35-21 victory at 6A Gulfport. Another tough road test is ahead this week before opening division play next week.
