Week 3 action saw two players record over 200-yards receiving with three others racking up more than 149-yards. Here is a look at this week’s top wide receiver performers: Jaivon Aquino | North Arlington Aquino put on a dominating performance in Week 3 as he hauled in 10 receptions for 266 yards and three scores. He was the main beneficiary of quarterback Devin Rivas as he hauled in touchdown scores of ….. Analysis: Aquino isn’t the biggest receiver but he makes up for it with his route running ability and knack for the football. He’s a sure-handed receiver who does a good job moving in and out of his routes and high-pointing the football. [player_tooltip player_id="190953" first="Andre" last="McKinney"] | Peddie McKinney was one of two players who secured over 200-yards receiving on the week as he caught 7 balls for 200 yards and two touchdowns. The primary target for quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="124480" first="Frankie" last="Farmer"], McKinney caught touchdown passes of 43 and 69-yards in Peddie’s 45-22 victory over Academy of the New Church. Analysis: The 5-foot-9, 155-pound receiver runs a 4.4 40-yard dash and often displays his speed when the ball is in his hands. Peddie does a nice job lining him up in the slot and getting the ball quickly into his hands. He’s got good vision and burst which allows him to pick up yards after the catch. Dylan Hutchinson | Pascack Valley Hutchinson averaged 27.1 yards per catch as he caught six passes for 163 yards and a touchdown. He helped Pascack Valley to a 40-12 victory over Teaneck as he scored on a 47-yard pass from Ethan Silcher in the first quarter. Analysis: Hutchinson is a big-bodied receiver who has the ability to get past his defender. He does a nice job high pointing the football and has the speed and toughness to pick up yards after the catch. [player_tooltip player_id="140787" first="Thomas" last="Amankwaa"] | Hillsborough Amankwaa, a recent Rutgers commit, put on another dominating performance as he caught 5 passes for 156 yards and two touchdowns. He scores on passes of 41 and 65 yards and also ran one in from 4 yards out. Analysis: Amankwaa, a Rutgers commit, is one of the top athletes in the state. He lines up in both the slot and in the backfield and is deadly with the ball in his hands. He’s a hard-running north and south runner who has great balance and vision. When lined up at receiver who plays with good position and runs great routes which allow up to get separation from opposing defenders. [player_tooltip player_id="190976" first="Jaden" last="Gallo"] | Holmdel Gallo was dominant in Holmdel’s 31-20 loss to Manalapan last weekend as he secured two receptions for 149-yards and two touchdowns while also rushing the ball 17 times for 120 yards and another score. He scored on a 67 and 82-yard reception and a 32-yard run. Analysis: Gallo is a physical runner who isn’t shy of contact. He’s tough to bring down and always keeps his feet moving. He’s often used in the running game which allows him to succeed in play-action passes where he was wide open down the seam twice this past weekend.
