We had a really good game between Pine-Richland and Central Catholic. It was a shootout. Here are some standouts from the game.
Central Catholic – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27644" first="Gannon" last="Carothers"]</strong> (SR) Running Back/DB 5’11 200: Carothers was the difference-maker in this game. He had 4 total touchdowns. 90-yard kickoff return, 75-yard, and 59-yard run, and a 58-yard catch and run to take the lead late 3<sup>rd</sup>. Central Catholic never looked back.
Pine-Richland – <strong>Cole Boyd</strong> (SR) Quarterback 6’0 190: Showed to be a good decision maker. Had some really good throws, right on the money. Boyd passed for 246 yards with 3 touchdowns. Boyd took command of the offense in the 1<sup>st</sup> half.
Central Catholic – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="95850" first="Matt" last="Aulicino"] </strong>(SR) OL/DE 6’7 240: Aulicino had a few tackles and tackles for loss. Though I believe he isn’t a dominant DE he did make his presence known. Almost every play it felt like he was in the QB’s face.
Pine-Richland – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27578" first="Jeremiah" last="Hasley"]</strong> (SR) Linebacker 6’3 225: Hasley, the Duke commit was all over the field early and often. He looked to make a bunch of tackles. He also had a couple of catches and powerful runs after the catch.
Pine-Richland – <strong>Ryan Palmieri </strong>(JR) Running Back 5’11 170: Good Vision, lacks quickness with decent speed but shows 2<sup>nd</sup> gear in open space. He had two touchdowns including a 24-yard run early 2<sup>nd</sup> quarter.
Central Catholic – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="164149" first="Peter" last="Gonzalez"] </strong>(SOPH) Wide Receiver 6’2 190: Really excited to see Gonzalez out there. He had a few catches including a big-time 23-yard TD catch.
Central Catholic – <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="149984" first="Malachi" last="Missouri"]</strong> (SR) Linebacker 5’11 185: Missouri was all over the field early on in the game making tackles. He had a big pass breakup late in the 4<sup>th</sup> to seal the deal. He’s a good tackler who takes good pursuit angles.
