Top Players: Judson vs Lake Travis

Lake Travis defeated Judson 52-20 last Friday. The Cavaliers scored double digits in almost every quarter and constantly kept on the pressure against the Rockets. The Cavaliers looked impressive but there were also key defenders as well. Here are the top players from the game.

Stats: 46 rushing yards, 85 receiving yards, 1 interception returned for a touchdown, 83 kickoff return yards
Arguably the player of the game overall, Johnson was all over the field all night. Whether it was defense or offense, Johnson was there around the ball. In the game, Johnson showcased his speed as he used his long legs to glide like a gazelle on returns and whenever he was given the ball. Johnson is both fast and powerful and given his versatility to play on both sides of the ball, makes him an incredibly athletic player.
2. <strong>Nico Hamilton (SO-RB) - Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)</strong>
Stats: 100 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown
3. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="60822" first="Alan" last="Caracheo"] (SR-DB) - Judson High School (Converse, TX)</strong>
Stats: 16 total tackles, 10 solo tackles, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble
Caracheo displayed great play recognition and was instrumental in creating disruption. An opportunistic player, he is also patient to let the play run out in his favor and was almost in the perfect spot to make the play each time. While Judson faced a tough defeat, the rest of the season is promising for this defense and Caracheo's season looks promising if he continues with the same effort he gave in this game.
4. <strong>Daylan Kazmierski (SR-DL) - Lake Travis High School (Austin, TX)</strong>
Stats: 1 forced fumble, 1 blocked punt
5. <strong>Marvin Beasley (SR-WR) - Judson High School (Converse, TX)</strong>
Stats: 2 receptions, 70 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown
