Lafayette vs West Point
After their big win over Oxford last week, Lafayette has solidified themselves as one of the contenders for the 5A title this season. This is a complete team in all phases of the game. In order to get there though, they will have to take down some of the historic greats first. West Point enters this game with two COVID forfeits, but looked dominant as ever in their win over Noxubee County. It is hard to ever discredit this West Point rushing attack, and Lafayette will have to be on their A-game to slow it down. Expecting this one to come down to the wire.

, Houston enters this game 4-0 on the season. Amory started the season off with two losses, but the offense has begun to click the past two weeks. While this game is an out of conference matchup, expect both these teams to want this one bad. A win against a quality opponent can set the tone for the rest of the year. Watching for a lot of work to be done on the ground.
West Lauderdale vs Philadelphia
West Lauderdale has been on of the hottest offenses in 4A this season. The stout offensive line is the team’s strength, and few teams have found a way to stop the rushing attack. Philadelphia has had an up and down season so far, but has shown that they can pass the ball well. Although this game doesn’t mean much for playoff implications, both teams will be hungry to win this one. Philadelphia won the last matchup in 2019 29-21.
Oak Grove vs Warren Central
Falling to Greenville Christian last week, Oak Grove will look to turn the season around this week against an undefeated Warren Central. Warren Central has run the ball well this season, and Oak Grove struggled to stop Greenville Christian on the ground last week. Central comes off a huge win over powerhouse Germantown and will look to slay another giant this week. Expecting this game to draw a ton of attention due to the amount of talent on the field.
