There is never a secret to why standout athletes in the state of Florida are quick to grab the spotlight. Four weeks in and we still having some amazing performances throughout the Sunshine State. As college coaches are keeping a close watch on everything that these young men are doing, the bar is still being raised. Check out these Week 4 performers: Baker junior RB [player_tooltip player_id="128424" first="Kayleb" last="Wagner"] broke Yulee RB Derrick Henry's single game rushing yards record last night with 535 yards on 25 carries (6 TDs) in the Gators 49-48 win over South Walton. Prep Redzone Florida featured this impressive young man last month. Class of 2022 S/LB, [player_tooltip player_id="164057" first="Caden" last="Morrell"] had 16 tackles (11 solo) and a sack in Jacksonville Trinity Christian's thrilling win. Interceptions by Clifton Morris and Javarious Johnson, and fumble recoveries by Jahbari Johnson and Davontae Kendrick guided Lake Region (Eagle Lake) to a 12-0 win over Kissimmee Poinciana. Junior quarterback Henry Toliver engineered all the scoring, rushing for 140 yards as Haines City beat Mulberry, 46- 6. Isaiah Byrd had 60-yard and 40-yard scoring runs, and Chris Benton blocked a punt and took it to the end zone from 25 yards away. Joe Jackson rushed for 189 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries as Ridge Community defeated Winter Haven, 36-26. Zach Pleuss threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns.
