<span style="font-weight: 400;">The class of 2022 is stacked with talented players throughout every 11-man classification in the state. </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Being a two-way player is very common for many high school athletes, but being dominant in more than one position on either side of the ball is no easy task. This article will highlight the names of ten senior athletes who fill multiple roles for their team, yet they are still flying underneath the recruiting radar.</span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="22708" first="Pyreese" last="Miller"] | Arapahoe | 5’10”, 175lbs | DB/RB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Miller is an amazing runner with excellent vision and an elite ability to make would-be tacklers miss by using shifty jump-cuts and top-tier acceleration. When on the other side of the ball, he lines up as a defensive back who can cause chaos in the backfield from the nickel position or be a ball-hawking member of the secondary. Through the first two games of the season, Miller accounted for 185 yards and three touchdowns off of 26 carries as a rusher. Defensively, he had one pass break up and one interception. These stats do not include his performance in game three where he racked up a plethora of rushing yards, caught a pass for a touchdown, forced a fumble, and snagged an interception.</span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/14511176/613e450f176c7b09b8b1af78’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/14511176/613e450f176c7b09b8b1af78" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Croix Burney | Rock Canyon | 5’11”, 160lbs | RB/CB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Burney is a shifty player who can use his vision to run between the tackles while also being patient enough to allow his blockers to create holes within the defense for him to exploit. Once he reaches the second level, he is able to use his elite acceleration and speed to outrun just about everyone on the field. Through the first three games of the season, Burney has a total of 229 yards and two touchdowns from 27 carries, along with 177 yards and one touchdown as a returner.</span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/11099435/613e138bf569cc051808d8ba’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/11099435/613e138bf569cc051808d8ba" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Miles Poole | Thornton | 6’1”, 190lbs | LB/RB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Poole is a player who stands out off the field because of his size then holds the spotlight while on the field due to his playmaking abilities. After missing his junior season and the first game of this season, Poole has looked nothing less than phenomenal during these last two weeks. He has carried the ball 32 times for 197 yards and two touchdowns, while quickly becoming the team’s second-leading tackler with a total of 20 and one sack. Poole’s ability to relentlessly track a ball carrier while using his speed to chase him down is borderline elite.</span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/11924715/61402e20dfd88908b054e1eb’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/11924715/61402e20dfd88908b054e1eb" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Herschel Craig III | Castle View | 6’4”, 210lbs | OLB/TE</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Craig III is a big player with a dominant presence and immovable strength coming off the edge. He is a tough player who forces his opponents to do everything they can to play away from him. As a defender, he has a total of five tackles, two sacks, and 11 quarterback hurries. As a tight end, he has a total of 30 yards and one touchdown off of two receptions. Craig III is moves extremely well for his size and is a large part of the reason why his team is as dominant as they are.</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/12872333/612a99a63863be0ed84dd7b3’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/12872333/612a99a63863be0ed84dd7b3" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a></span> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="22730" first="Zavier" last="Carroll"] | Regis Jesuit | 5’9”, 185lbs | RB/MLB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the first three weeks of the season, Carroll as tallied 221 yards and one touchdown off of 31 carries as a running back. He is a stout player who can powerfully run between the tackles while also using his speed to outrun defenders on the outside. As a backer, Carroll does a great job at stacking the box and playing against the run. He is a sure tackler with good eyes who plays his assignments well by watching the ball and not over-pursuing the ball carrier. </span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/9246838/613638520dc17009382370b5’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/9246838/613638520dc17009382370b5" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Jaydin Gonzales | Denver North | 6’0”, 160lbs | WR/DB/P</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Gonzales has eight receptions for 125 yards and one touchdown as a receiver, as well as six carries for 31 yards as a rusher. Defensively, he has 14 total tackles, one pass breakup, one interception, and a punt block. As a punter, he booted a total of 194 yards from five punts with one being pinned within his opponent’s 20 yardline.</span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/15807215/613ea5f68cde9e0b200315cd’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/15807215/613ea5f68cde9e0b200315cd" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="169565" first="Jaydin" last="Hedelius"] | Berthoud | 6’1”, 155lbs | WR/DB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Hedelius is a possession receiver with reliable hands and an uncanny ability to go up and catch the ball at its highest point. He is precise with his releases and extremely dangerous when the ball is in his hands while in open field. Defensively, he is a physical player and a sure tackler when coming down from his cornerback position. Through the first two games of the season, Hedelius recorded 10 receptions for 138 yards and two touchdowns.</span> <a href="http://iframe%20src=’//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/10691303/613131136e81d9072ca66637’%20width=’640’%20height=’360’%20frameborder=’0’%20allowfullscreen/iframe"><iframe src="//www.hudl.com/embed/video/3/10691303/613131136e81d9072ca66637" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></a> <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><b>Hunter Johnson | Englewood | 6’1”, 165lbs | WR/DB</b></span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Through the first three weeks, Johnson recorded 16 receptions for 248 yards and four touchdowns.
