The state of Arkansas continues do an excellent job of showcasing talented prospects every week during the high school football season. It is time for Prep RedZone Arkansas to look at the Prime-Time players from week number two in the state of Arkansas. Plenty of talented players earned the spotlight this week and this is our chance to spotlight them. [player_tooltip player_id="94994" first="Cooper" last="Wilcox"]-Quarterback-Greenbrier-2022 [player_tooltip player_id="94994" first="Cooper" last="Wilcox"] has started to blow up this season for Greenbrier. Wilcox had an impressive summer doing well at performance camps, 7-on-7 tournaments, and team camps. It should come as no surprise that he is off to an excellent start this 2021 season. On Friday night, Wilcox continued his strong play. He was 14-24 for 275 yards and four touchdowns against Arkadelphia. However, Wilcox was not done there, he tacked on 109 yards off of 15 carries and three touchdowns on the ground in a 55-47 victory over Arkadelphia. [player_tooltip player_id="181497" first="Preston" last="Davis"]-Linebacker-Little Rock Christian-2024 Over the next few seasons, [player_tooltip player_id="181497" first="Preston" last="Davis"] is going to be a player at the linebacker position folks will want to make notes about and pay attention to. The Little Rock Christian linebacker was all over the field Friday night. Davis racked up 15 tackles for Little Rock Christian on Friday night against Magnolia. Look for Davis to continue his solid play in conference play. The fun for Davis is really going to begin in conference play. [player_tooltip player_id="150576" first="Landen" last="Haas"]-Quarterback-Southside Batesville-2022 [player_tooltip player_id="150576" first="Landen" last="Haas"] had his junior season cut short with an injury. However, this season he has come out to start the season on fire. In a victory, over Trumann on Friday night, Hass had an excellent play, both running and passing. Haas accounted for over 300 total yards and five total touchdowns. Haas is a dangerous player both running and throwing the football. He will be a player to watch during the conference season. [player_tooltip player_id="75108" first="Eli" last="Alcorn"]-Athlete-Newport-2022 [player_tooltip player_id="75108" first="Eli" last="Alcorn"] is one of the most versatile players in the state of Arkansas in the class of 2022. Alcorn did a little bit of everything for the Greyhounds. Alcorn was 12-24 for 130 yards and a touchdown through the air. Meanwhile, Alcorn was not just a one trick pony Friday, he also 17 times for 113 yards and a touchdown. Alcorn will not be the only Greyhound to make our list this week. Jamison Hinsley-Wide Receiver-Vilonia-2022 The Vilonia wide receiver had an impressive night against Maumelle to say the least. Hinsley hauled in 11 receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown. He proved to be a tough assignment for the Maumelle defensive backs on Friday night. Hinsley can build off of a performance like the one he had on Friday night and in the process really help stretch the field for the Vilonia offense. Keep an eye on Hinsley this season. [player_tooltip player_id="106759" first="Isiah" last="Kendall"]-Wide Receiver-Newport-2023 Kendall has the potential to become a wide receiver that college scouts will keep tabs on over the next few years. He has the size and the talent to be a matchup nightmare and proved that very thing on Friday night. Kendall hauled in four receptions for 84 yards and a touchdown. Kendall has the speed to stretch the field and is just a nightmare for opposing cornerbacks to cover. Keep an eye on Kendall over the next few seasons, the potential he has is extremely high. [player_tooltip player_id="75102" first="Hunter" last="Talley"]-Quarterback-Siloam Springs-2022 [player_tooltip player_id="75102" first="Hunter" last="Talley"] has been an electric to start the season for Siloam Springs this season. Against the Harrison Goblins, Talley continued his hot trend. Talley was 25-40 for 335 yards passing and two touchdowns. Talley was used his legs well on Friday night picking up 104 yards and three rushing touchdowns. Talley is a player that should not go under the radar for coaches and scouts, and he is a player to watch out for this season. [player_tooltip player_id="155329" first="Bryce" last="Perkins"]-Quarterback-Van Buren-2024 My advice is to get used to seeing Perkins on lists like this one over the next few years. Perkins was terrific on Friday night going 22-27 for 288 yards and five total touchdowns. Perkins has done a great job of identifying his receivers and hitting his wide receivers in stride. Perkins is going to be a dangerous player over the next few seasons and is going to be a player to watch out for this season. Look for Perkins to continue to improve. [player_tooltip player_id="91976" first="Malachi" last="Henry"]-Wide Receiver-Van Buren-2023 [player_tooltip player_id="91976" first="Malachi" last="Henry"] is proving to be a difficult matchup for opposing defensive backs to contain. Henry was extremely productive on Friday night. Henry hauled in five receptions for 106 yards and three touchdown receptions. Henry does a terrific job of creating separation and it should come as no surprise that he is off to an incredible 2021 season. Keep an eye on Henry this season, the young man is just getting started.
