[player_tooltip player_id="207553" first="Avery" last="Cohen"] | Shawnee | 6-0
Cohen has caught 20 passes for 334 yards (16.7 ypc) and two touchdowns in his first four games this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="207546" first="Darius" last="Thompson"] | Plainfield | 6-3 | 185
Thompson has caught 15 passes for 365 yards (24.3 ypc) and four touchdowns in four games this season. Thompson had a breakout performance in a 40-37 win over Watching Hills Regional this past weekend. He caught 9 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns in that game. While we don’t expect that type of performance ever week, it’s still enough to put Thompson on our radar.
[player_tooltip player_id="207545" first="Dylan" last="Hutchinson"] | Pascack Valley | 6-2 | 185
Hutchinson has caught 22 passes for 388 yards (17.6 ypc) and five touchdowns in his first four games this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="27993" first="JoJo" last="Bermudez"] | Cedar Creek | 5-10 | 160
Current Ranking: State - 18 , Position - 3
He’s already rated as the No. 3 wide receiver in the state but may see upward movement in the state rankings during the next update. He has caught 28 passes for 660 yards and six touchdowns during the first five games of the season. That’s 23.6 yards per catch for the former Rutgers commit. You would be hard-pressed to find a more electrifying player in the state of New Jersey right now. Whether it's catching passes, running the football, or returning kicks, Bermudez is a "must-see" player. Bermudez has that second-gear and is a threat to score from anywhere on the football field. His value as a returner and a wide receiver has increased during the first-half of this season.
