There were several standout performers during the Saturday games among St. Louis area squads in Week 3. Here is a quick look at a few that stood out:
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="195785" first="Anthony" last="Dickerson"], 5-6, 200, Gateway STEM, Class of 2023</strong>
Dickerson rushed 17 times for 120 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ 36-14 win against Roosevelt. Dickerson already has two 100-yard rushing performances in the first three weeks.
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="201724" first="Dierre" last="Hill"], 6-0, 180, Vashon, Class of 2025</strong>
The freshman standout took over the much-anticipated Vashon-Soldan matchup and led the Wolverines to an impressive 35-6 in a battle of unbeaten Public High League schools. Hill followed up a breakout game against Vianney (149 total yards, two TDs) with four touchdowns against Soldan. He rushed 15 times for 140 rushing yards and three touchdowns and also returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown.
<strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="37530" first="Caleb" last="Merritt"], 6-0, 180, John Burroughs, Class of 2022</strong>
A Wyoming commitment, Merritt opened the Bombers’ game against Lift For Life with an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He finished the game with 97 total yards, rushing seven times for 61 yards and catching three passes for 36 yards in a 38-20 loss. Through the first three games, Merritt has a team-high 341 total yards (275 receiving, 61 rushing) and six touchdowns.
<strong>RB [player_tooltip player_id="37668" first="Winston" last="Moore"], 5-11, 175, MICDS, Class of 2023</strong>
Moore was all over the field in the Rams’ dominating 49-14 win over visiting Westminster on Saturday. He rushed 11 times for 103 yards and two touchdowns, caught two passes for 68 yards and a touchdown and added a 50-yard punt return touchdown late in the second quarter for his fourth touchdown of the first half.
<strong>ATH [player_tooltip player_id="176235" first="Rashad" last="Singleton"], 5-9, 170, Lift For Life, Class of 2022</strong>
Singleton did a little bit of everything in Lift For Life’s 38-20 win at Burroughs, accounting for 150 total yards and two touchdowns. He ran seven times for 86 yards and a touchdown, caught three passes for 45 yards and a score and also completed a 19-yard pass. He also added a tackle.
