The Madison, Alabama schools are just a few miles apart, and it’s as intense of a high school rivalry as you will find. The 2021 matchup didn’t disappoint as it took overtime to decide that James Clemens would win this year’s matchup 34-28. There were offensive stars all over the field, and here are 5 top contributors:
QB Rayshawn Hardy Rayshawn Hardy 6'1" | 200 lbs | ATH Bob Jones | 2023 State AL , Bob Jones High School – c/o 2023
6’2″ 205lbs
Rayshawn Hardy Rayshawn Hardy 6'1" | 200 lbs | ATH Bob Jones | 2023 State AL put on a show Friday night. Rayshawn had 148 rushing yards, 259 passing yards, 4 touchdowns, and a total of 407 all-purpose yards. This was a breakout-type performance for the 2023 prospect. Hardy is a fast and elusive runner, but he shows the toughness to be able to run the ball between the tackles. He made clutch throws when his team needed him. I believe he is the type of athlete to play any skill position on offense for a D1 program.

QB Giovanni Lopez Giovanni Lopez 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB James Clemens | 2023 State AL , James Clemens High School – c/o 2023
6’1″ 215lbs
Like his counterpart, Lopez picked apart the opposing defense. He had 184 yards passing, 43 yards rushing, 1 passing TD, and 1 rushing TD. Lopez throws well in the pocket as well as on the move. Lopez can make every throw on the field, and he is an outstanding runner that keeps the defense honest. Lopez holds an offer from UAB, and I expect more interest to pick up as this season continues.
Film:
WR Tyrik Walker, James Clemens High School – c/o 2022
6’0″ 175lbs
Walker is a playmaker! When James Clemens needed a play through the air, Lopez would look to Walker to come up big. He had 7 catches for 98 yards and 1 TD. He also had an important 2-point conversion catch. Walker faced tough coverage all night, but he was able to make play after play. Tyrik runs great routes, can take the top off the defense, and has great hands. He is someone that could contribute at the D1 FCS or Group of Five.

WR Quenton Hubbard, Bob Jones High School – c/o 2023
5’10” 165lbs
Quenton Hubbard has elite speed. He turned a screen pass into a 74 yard reception, and he blew by a DB to catch an 84 yard pass. Hubbard finished the night with 5 receptions for 200 yards, and he is a threat to house one every time he touches the ball. As film from this game comes out, I expect more interest to come his way.
RB Dante Snodgrass, James Clemens High School – c/o 2022
5’8″ 180lbs
Snodgrass had 80 yards rushing on 13 carries with 2 TDs in the Madison Bowl. While his rushing ability is impressive, his ability to contribute in the passing game will be a huge plus for him at the next level. For a smaller back, he isn’t afraid to run between the tackles. He explodes through the hole and gets up the field with speed.
