As many are searching for the answers, the solution may be as far as the 2022 commitment list.
Fort Lauderdale Stranahan linebacker Omar Graham Jr. is more than backing up what the FSU coaching staff felt about this impressive playmaker.
A one-time running back at nearby Oakland Park Northeast, his true calling came when he moved over to Stranahan. What the Dragons provided this quality football talent was a forum to do what he does best – and that has worked out just fine after five weeks of the 2021 season.
What this standout is doing this season is indeed amazing – and impressive at the same time. His 15 quarterback sacks is leading the country, according to Max Preps.
THE GRAHAM FILE
Omar Graham Jr.
POSITION: LB
CLASS: 2022
SCHOOL: Fort Lauderdale Stranahan
HEIGHT: 6-1.5
WEIGHT: 225
HEAD COACH: Travis Harden
WHAT ARE COACHES MISSING: Because of his overall athleticism, playing running back for years, this is not your average linebacker.
What he brings to the table as an athlete and a skilled position player gives you a chance to line him up at just about any of the linebacker position. While he does have size, his quickness and knack of thinking one play ahead is the reason why he makes so many plays. He is in position most of the time to make plays – and that is exactly the reason that his numbers are already solid halfway through the 2021 season.
He is one of those talents that will make an impact in Tallahassee – in some form – because he has been in the position of having to do as much as he can to get recognized.
As you can see from any film you watch on Omar is that his motor never stops – and he will make the play, whether it’s in front of him or having to chase the play down.
