CJ Davis CJ Davis 5'11" | 175 lbs | DB Ft. Wayne Northrop | 2023 State IN – Northrop – WR – 5’10″ 165 lbs
Davis has really emerged as a great threat for Northrop. Friday was no different and Davis had a huge game. His biggest play of the day was a screen where he made a guy miss, weaved through the entire defense, and scored on a long TD. He showed great speed and consistency Friday. If he keeps it up, the Junior is going to have a ton of offers roll in by the time the season ends.
KJ Tippmann – Bishop Dwenger – FB/MLB – 6’1″ 205 lbs
It’s not often that Tippmann gets to leave defense and be the offensive battering ram, but Friday was different. Bishop Luers was gouging the defense with those inside zone runs where they’d hand it to Tippmann. He was able to score on the goal line as well. The interior line was Bishop Dwenger was blowing guys off the ball and the FB had a huge game on Friday because of it.
Henry O’keefe – Bishop Dwenger – WR/CB – 5’10″ 165 lbs
It seems to be a regular trend where O’keefe is on these lists, but that’s a good thing. He had another big week and was able to bust another huge score. When he gets by the defense and turns on the jets he isn’t going to be caught. The interior run game and the deep shots were more than enough on Friday. O’keefe keeps stringing together great performances. Hopefully, he ends back up on the list next week too.
Kamari Juarez – Snider – WR – 5’9″ 160 lbs
Juarez looked fantastic on Friday. He was Haupert’s primary target and did not disappoint. In one play, they threw a screen to Juarez. He made the catch, stuck his foot in the ground, hit the defender with a shimmy, and was off to the races for a touchdown. He isn’t the biggest player, but he has a great ability to make defenders miss and that was on full display Friday.
Jeff Becker Jeff Becker 6'0" | 195 lbs | QB Carroll | 2022 State IN – Carroll – QB – 6’1″ 195 lbs
He was out last week and came back this week on fire. He started early and didn’t let up the entire game. In what is usually a good game, Becker hung 40 on Northside and called it a day. Becker was slicing and dicing the entire game and was dropping dimes left and right. He wanted to remind everyone why he’s the best quarterback in Fort Wayne and he did just that. It was an incredible performance and well-worth pulling up some of the highlights.
