With the college coaches having the opportunity to watch more and more athletes, this is already a change over last season – when Covid put basically all recruiting on hold.
In the Sunshine State, it really does not matter where you go. The talent is everywhere – from Key West to Pensacola and in every city in between.
Over the course of a week, with all the blog that we bring you, there is an added 5 prospects that we send you way each Thursday. Here are this week’s prospects to keep an eye.
2022 – Jordan Bradley, DB, 5-11, 190, Pensacola Booker T. Washington. As we have found that the Florida Panhandle is loaded with quality football prospects, here is someone who is certainly turning it on this year – his long interception return for a touchdown against Pensacola High was a sample of what this young man represents and needs to be watched by college coaches who are looking for someone very special.

2022 – Ayden Leon, OL, 6-5, 275, Panama City North Bay Haven. During the off-season when head coach Andy Seigal talked about this quality big man, he spoke about someone who was way under-recruited, and he was right on target. All this impressive lineman did was dominate lineman camps and showcases and has followed that up with two solid weeks of football for another Panhandle area program that does not get the shine it deserves. Big time potential.

2023 – Kristian Mitchell, DB, 6-2, 175, Orange Park Ridgeview. When it comes to locking down receivers, here is a talented young man who is quickly earning a reputation as a physical and gifted secondary standout that has been impressive so far this season, and while he is getting some local looks, this is another quality talent that needs to be watched – weekly!

2022 – Aidan MacLean, QB, 6-0, 170, Clearwater. After two weeks on the 2021 high school football season, this quality football talent leads all Florida quarterbacks in passing – and has lifted the Tornadoes to the next level on offense. His 345 yards against Tarpon Springs East Lake showed what this impressive prospect is all about. Quick release, good arm strength and is on target with his throws. Also, will tuck it in and run if needed. This is a true under-the-radar football talent.

2022 – Tyler Geary, DE/TE, 6-1, 205, Trinity Mitchell. The success of this program last season has carried over with a prospect like this. One who can not only get after the quarterback and stop the running game, but also get it done on special teams, blocking punts and making plays. Very much a throwback type of prospect who will do anything it takes for his team to win. Will start to get plenty of attention as the season moves along. This young man plays this game with passion.

2023 – Marcus Woodley, LB, 6-2, 210, Somerset Silver Palms. There are so many impressive football prospects who are showcasing their talents so far this season, it’s football players like this who need the spotlight – and he is going to get plenty of that this year. With solid bloodlines in the game, he continues to grow and get bigger and learning so much more about the game. This is someone we will all keep an eye on over the next few months.
