The PRZ SC Class of 2022 were updated last week and there are tons of skill guys that are already included in York, Chester and Lancaster Counties. But we wanted to put the spotlight on some of the newcomers, particularly the skill guys who made our newest batch of rankings.
Clover – CB/SS [player_tooltip player_id="89317" first="Jy" last="Martin"]

Hudl highlight film from game vs. Dorman
Analysis: Martin has the versatility to play wide receiver, safety or corner. But he may be most effective when he’s used at safety. In the opening contest against Dorman, we saw several times where he showed his awareness to come down against the run and make tackles quickly. He took excellent angles to the ball and didn’t miss tackles.
Fort Mill – WR/CB [player_tooltip player_id="200719" first="JJ" last="Ogwal"]
Twitter: @jj_ogwal

Analysis: Ogwal runs his routes on offense at full speed and can make an impact with the ball in his hands, like we saw on his film and in-person against Piedmont a few weeks ago. He had a touchdown on a rollout to his right. He knew where he needed to get to and didn’t think about getting hit. On defense, he recognizes quick passes and comes up to make the tackles and can fight off blocks against the run.
South Pointe – QB [player_tooltip player_id="200727" first="Zay" last="McCrorey"]
Twitter: @ZayMccrorey1
Hudl highlight film from game vs. Shelby
Analysis: McCrorey has the height and the athleticism that you’re looking for at the position, which is why he currently has two offers from Mississippi Valley State University and St. George Collegiate Academy. He can execute the quick passing game with precision putting the ball where it needs to be. The senior has a cannon for an arm and we saw it on display against Northwestern where he hit several deep balls right in the bread basket. Of course, with his frame, the coaches use him in the run game in certain situations.
York – LB [player_tooltip player_id="200766" first="Ashton" last="Eddington"]
Twitter: @ashton_19
Analysis: We’ve been able to see Eddington play twice and in both games, he’s been heavily involved in the opponent’s backfield, especially against the run. He has the instinct that you’re looking for at the position and he runs at full speed. He can make tackles in space and won’t stop until the ball carrier is brought down in passing situations. He nearly had a pick six against Rock Hill last week.
