He’s a smooth, rangy athlete lining up at WR/CB/FS. He’s a consistent deep threat as a receiver with soft hands and the speed to outpace DBs. Sampson originally committed to Nevada before reopening his recruitment over the summer and currently holds offers from Fresno St., SDSU, and UCLA. He’s a powerful player at RB/LB and projects as a LB at the next level. He’s a dangerous defender coming off the edge with speed to beat OTs off the LOS and reads plays with eyes extremely well. He’s a physical tackler in space and shows lateral speed tackling sideline-to-sideline. He plays with an extremely high level of aggressiveness and effort.
