Prep Redzone looks at a few dozen players from the West Jersey Football League that you should watch out for this upcoming season. Most of these players either have offers, earned all-league, all-region, or all-state honors, or contributed on the varsity level last season.
Today we look at the WJFL’s National, Royal, and Patriot Divisions.

<strong>DELSEA</strong>
<strong>Trey Simmons</strong>|RB|2022
Simmons carried the football 50 times for 703 yards and nine touchdowns in six games last season.
<strong>Danny Digiovacchino</strong>|LB|2023
Digiovacchino made 58 tackles (35 solo) last season.
<strong>Jaedyn Stewart</strong>|LB|2022
Stewart made 52 tackles (35 solo) last season.
<strong>Jared Schoppe</strong>|LB|2023
Schoppe made 39 total tackles (23 solo) and sacked the quarterback three times last season. Schoppe rushed 84 times for 54 yards and seven touchdowns last season.
<strong>HAMMONTON</strong>
<strong>AJ Ryker</strong>|5-10|175|LB|2022
Ryker may not be the biggest at his position but he is among the quickest.
<strong>Andrew Wehner</strong>|6-1|190|LB|2024
<strong>Austin Hudak</strong>|6-3|210|LB|2022
Hudak plays both tight end and linebacker for his high school team. After watching his film, I believe he has a higher ceiling at the middle linebacker position. Hudak is a physical tackler and comes downhill in a hurry to make plays.
<strong>DEPTFORD</strong>
<strong>Brandon Pitts</strong>|6-0|245|DL|2022
Pitts plugs up the middle against the run and disrupts action in opposing backfields.
<strong>Mikey Long</strong>|6-0|150|2023
<strong>George Rodgers</strong>|6-0|200|2022
<strong>MAINLAND</strong>
<strong>Noah Torres|</strong>5-10|170|WR|2022

<strong>Daveon Morris</strong>|5-8|215|LB|2022
<strong>PAUL VI</strong>
<strong>Declan Williams</strong>|6-2|215|LB|2022
Williams controls the middle of the defense for Paul VI. He does a great job as both a run and pass blitzed.

<strong>Isaiah Shafer</strong>|5-8|155|RB|2022
