Prep Redzone looks at a few dozen players from the West Jersey Football League players that you should watch out for this upcoming season. The majority of these players either have offers, earned all-league, all-region, or all-state honors, or contributed on the varsity level last season. Today we look at the WJFL's Colonial, Constitution, and Continental Divisions.
COLONIAL
HADDONFIELD Bobby Hahn/LB/5-9/170/2022 WILLINGBORO Mekhi Gibson/5-9/155/RB/2022 Nasir Abney/6-2/230/RB/2022 [player_tooltip player_id="28015" first="Bryson" last="Bright"]/6-2/220/RB/2022 Jaheim Wright/6-1/160/DB/2022 Chris Schoener/6-3/195/QB/2022 WEST DEPTFORD Jcovi Williams/5-7/175/2022 COLLINGSWOOD Matthew Hoffman/6-5/220/WR/2022 Keenan Zelem/6-0/205/OL/2022 Marcus Boldurian/6-3/210/DE/2022 Quentin Moss/WR/2022 Ryan Rodgers/LB/2022 DELRAN [player_tooltip player_id="27968" first="Kenny" last="Fletcher"]/6-5/215/DE/2022 [player_tooltip player_id="136734" first="Zachary" last="Palmer-Smith"]/6-0/205/RB/2022 Derek Namnun/5-11/195/QB/2023 STERLING Kristian Valeriano/6-4/180/WR/2022 Jeremiah Thompson/6-1/190/QB/2022 OVERVIEW Delan running back [player_tooltip player_id="136734" first="Zachary" last="Palmer-Smith"] made the most out of the four games he played during the 2020 season. Palmer-Smith carried the football 87 taimes for 828 yards (9.5 ypc) and 13 touchdowns. That’s over 200 yards per game rushing for the folks counting at home. Delran super-athlete [player_tooltip player_id="27968" first="Kenny" last="Fletcher"] caught 23 passes for 350 yards (15.2 ypc) and one touchdown last season. He also made 26 total tackles (21 solo) on defense. Haddonfield’s Billy Hahn made 40 total tackles (20 solo) on defense last season.
