Wicksburg Panthers 2021 Team Preview

<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The Wicksburg Panthers are gearing up for another playoff-hopeful season in 2021. Last year, the Panthers made the AHSAA Class 3A playoffs but lost in the first round to Thomasville. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Heading into 2021, the Panthers and head coach Josh Cox have high expectations. Wicksburg has a multitude of talent on both sides of the ball to be a playoff contender once again. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">Running back [player_tooltip player_id="127803" first="Jalen" last="Murry"] could have a breakout season. The Junior showed flashes of greatness last season and could turn heads this year. Beau Sellers might be one of the best defensive linemen in the region, too. Payton Crutchfield is another name to watch at the linebacker position. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">While the Panthers have hopes of another playoff run and a quest for their first ever state championship, the program has a tough slate of games. </span></p> <p class="p3"><span class="s2">The region is not an easy one.
