<span style="font-weight: 400;">Week 1 of the 2021 high school football season offers the potential for a high scoring shootout as well as some star individual performances that guys will be trying to build upon this week against quality non-region opponents in York, Chester and Lancaster counties on Friday night.</span>
<b>Catawba Ridge at Nation Ford</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> – If you like points and offense, this one’s for you on Friday night. <b>Myers Park (NC) at Clover</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> – The Blue Eagles pulled off an upset of Dorman last week on the road and they now turn their attention to Charlotte power Myers Park. Linebacker </span><b>Cooper Zohner </b><a href="https://twitter.com/cooperzohner"><b>(@cooperzohner)</b></a> <span style="font-weight: 400;">will be looking to follow up on a solid opening performance where he had 13 tackles, with three of them for a loss. Clover’s run game could be a factor Friday night as well with running back </span><b>Elijah Farmer</b> <a href="https://twitter.com/elijahfarmer13"><b>(@elijahfarmer13)</b></a> <span style="font-weight: 400;">looking to build off a strong opening performance as well.</span>
<b>Rock Hill at Northwestern</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> – The news came out Thursday morning that these two rivals will meet up in a non-region matchup as both the Trojans and Bearcats won’t be able to play their originally scheduled opponents due to COVID-19 issues with Indian Land and South Pointe. </span>
