With programs coming from Flagler, Lake, Seminole and Volusia Counties, 26 teams had the chance to showcase players and coaches for the season ahead.
Varsity Sports Network (VSN), a new player in high school sports coverage in Florida, was once again center stage with interviews, photos and plenty of exposure as media had the opportunity to talk with some of the newsmakers in the three counties – as football was definitely in the air.
Led by defending 8A state champion Sanford Seminole and 6A state runner up Lake Minneola, everyone had a great time, enjoying their time in the spotlight. Both teams have the talent to make another solid run.
The Only 24/7 High School Sports Network in Florida with 16 Channels, Varsity Sports Network provides statewide coverage of all 22 sports. All year long. All in one place.
In addition to Seminole and Lake Minneola, who showed off some state finals pedigree, programs such as Daytona Beach Mainland, loaded Lake Mary, district contender Winter Park Lake Howell, rebuilding New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange Spruce Creek – teams looking to take that next step, also came out to showcase their many standouts with promise of a solid 2021 season.
The event also brought out schools that have worked hard in the off-season, and are ready to make a name for themselves.
Schools such as much improved Daytona Beach Seabreeze, solid Deltona, Deltona Trinity Christian, rising Flagler Palm Coast, Groveland South Lake, Halifax, 8-man program Kissimmee City of Life Christian Academy, talented Leesburg and rebuilding Mount Dora Christian Academy was on hand as well.
Teams like Orange City University, gifted Oviedo, Oviedo Hagerty, rebuilding Palm Coast Matanzas, Port Orange Atlantic, talented Tavares, The Master’s Academy, Umatilla and Winter Springs were also on hand with plenty of optimism.
