5. [player_tooltip player_id="141934" first="Zachary" last="Siskowic"], Orange
Siskowic burst onto the scene when he was the starting quarterback for Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks as a sophomore in 2019. He played at Crespi last season and is now at Orange leading a very young but talented roster. The days of Orange being a top Division 13 level team are over. They get big time players now and can compete with 90 percent of the county. Siskowic throws a beautiful ball and knows exactly when to crank up the velocity and when to put some touch on the ball. He has an offer from Columbia.

4. Dylan Eldredge, Cypress
Eldredge is a three-year starter for Cypress after playing his freshman season at Los Alamitos. He throws one of the best deep balls in the county. Opposing coaches and media were impressed with his performance at the Marina passing tournament when he led the Centurions to a win against Centennial. He is a real leader in the huddle and has great chemistry with receiver [player_tooltip player_id="35436" first="Matthew" last="Morrell"]. Eldredge will need to have a big season for Cypress to win the outright Empire League championship.

3. [player_tooltip player_id="143138" first="Nathan" last="Kornely"], Villa Park
Kornely is one of those guys who always makes the right reads and has a very accurate arm. That’s a good combination. Villa Park coach Dusan Ancich hinted that the coaching staff doesn’t have a lot of faith in the running game yet which means Kornely will get a lot of opportunities to shine this fall. He has his weapons back at the skill positions and has the potential to lead Villa Park to another Crest View League championship. Kornely was the leading receiver in Orange County in the spring season with 1,756 yards and has offers from St. Norbert’s College and Puget Sound.

2. [player_tooltip player_id="25295" first="Logan" last="Gonzalez"], Orange Lutheran
Gonzalez got to be the lone starter for the Lancers last spring and went through some growing pains. He took a lot of big hits due to an overmatched offensive line and three of the four teams he played against were the top three teams in the state. This year he has a new coaching staff including a new quarterback coach Aaron Corp who was a star at Orange Lutheran and USC. When he has protection he can pick apart a defense and throw with the best quarterbacks in Southern California. If Orange Lutheran wants to finish in the top four in the Trinity League, Gonzalez will need to be a big contributor.

1. [player_tooltip player_id="25286" first="Noah" last="Fifita"], Servite
This is a no brainer. He’s arguably the best quarterback in the county and is one of those guys that opposing players and coaches rave about. He is the best passer in the class and fits the ball into tight windows on a regular basis. He has a command of the offense and the trust of his teammates. Fifita has played well in big games and Servite will need him to do that again this year if they hope to beat St. John Bosco or Mater Dei. He is committed to Arizona.
