Before the 2021 fall season begins in Colorado, many top prospects from the state have already announced their commitments to play at the next level, and some will be soon with offers already on the table. Most notably, the top offensive linemen for the of 2022 and 2023 are drawing attention and are now set for the next chapter.
Here is a look at those top players who have shared their commitments and offers so far this summer.
<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22668" first="George" last="Fitzpatrick"], Cherry Creek (2022)</strong></span>
An athletic, lengthy tackle at 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds, he moves well for the position. Fitzpatrick is the No. 2 ranked prospect for the Class of 2022 and top offensive lineman prospect on the board. He had FBS offers from all over the country before settling in on Ohio State back in July.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="147176" first="Joshua" last="Bates"], Durango (2023)</strong></span>
The top offensive lineman prospect for the Class of 2023, Bates is already turning heads in his career, especially after helping Durango win the state title in Class 3A last season. Perhaps the best interior lineman in the state and for this article, and standing 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds, he narrowed his list down of the top FBS programs across the country. But earlier this week, Bates announced his selection, choosing the University of Oklahoma for his next school before starting his junior season.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22677" first="Jake" last="Maikkula"], Valor Christian (2022)</strong></span>
Another top offensive tackle with great size at 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds in Class 5A, Maikkula has put in the work in the weight room and on the field to land multiple FBS offers. An effective run blocker in his career, he is named the No. 2 ranked offensive lineman prospect for the Class of 2022 and No. 4 ranked overall. After mulling over countless offers, he chose to commit to Stanford in late July.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22669" first="Braden" last="Miller"], Eaglecrest (2022)</strong></span>
Another tackle standing 6-foot-6, Miller is also 280 pounds and brings an attitude with him to the field in his pass protection sets as well as in the run game. The No. 3 ranked lineman and No. 5 overall in the Class of 2022, Miller started announcing his offers on social media during his sophomore season in 2019. More offers rolled in, and he would choose to commit to Michigan State, one of the first schools he shared an offer from, after taking a visit there in June.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22675" first="Connor" last="Jones"], Palmer Ridge (2022)</strong></span>
Jones made his commitment early in his high school career, announcing his plans to play for the Michigan Wolverines during his junior season last year. Since announcing his commitment, the 6-foot-7, 295-pound tackle, who is ranked No. 4 for offensive lineman and No. 9 overall for the Class of 2022, has been working hard in the weight room and in offseason workouts to improve and help lead his Palmer Ridge team on a quest to get back to the Class 4A state championship game.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="22670" first="Travis" last="Gray"], Cherokee Trail (2022)</strong></span>
Gray is No. 5 for offensive lineman and No. 10 overall in the 2022 class, and he had been linked with offers to multiple FBS schools from the Power 5 and Group of 5. With his top 10 selected and a few visits taken, the 6-foot-7, 295-pound tackle announced his intention to stay close to home and head to Boulder to play for the Colorado Buffaloes.

The right tackle for the dominant duo up front at Eaglecrest, Weatherby is fundamentally sound and continues to improve while adding to his 6-foot-6, 270-pound frame. His work has led him to be the No. 11 ranked prospect for the 2022 class. He had a handful of offers and took a few visits earlier this summer for his top schools. After those visits, he chose to commit to Texas Tech back in June.

Pastore has played both guard and tackle in his career, and that versatility, coupled with his size and strength at 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds, has made him the No. 16 ranked prospect in the 2022 class for Prep Redzone Colorado. Following an FCS offer from South Dakota, he earned FBS offers from Nebraska, Colorado State, Wyoming and Kansas State shortly after. A few months later, he announced that he was committed to Kansas State.
