Tate Looks To Rebound In 2021

After a disappointing 1-7 season in 2020, Tate (Cantonment) head football coach <strong>Jay Lindsey</strong> and his staff took a no-nonsense approach this past off season. With a number of seniors ready to step up, the Aggies made sure that as soon as the spring and summer arrived, it would be all about getting better – and that was an objective shared by every member of the team. Losses to Pensacola Washington, Pace, Pensacola Escambia, Pensacola Catholic, Gulf Breeze and Fleming Island in the playoffs served as a reminder to this team that work needs to be done. With a senior class (2022) that includes some playmakers and leaders, the objective in 2021 is to show improvement. Prospects such as <strong>Bruce Foster</strong> (WR/LS, 5-10, 175 – 3.7 GPA, 1020 SAT), <strong>Warren Henke</strong> (DB/RB, 6-0, 180 – 3.31 GPA, 25 ACT), <strong>Lyle Jackson</strong> (RB/WR, 5-11, 180 – 3.0 GPA), <strong>Jaden Lewis</strong> (OLB/TE, 6-3, 215 – 3.7 GPA. 26 ACT) and linebacker <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="50282" first="Cooper" last="McKinney"]</strong> (5-10, 185 – 3.3 GPA, 28 ACT) will be a great place to start.
