Prep RedZone Arkansas 2024 Rankings Newcomers

The number one thing about updating the prospect rankings several times a year is being able to see the new talent that moves into the list. The August edition of the Prep RedZone Arkansas 2024 rankings will see a number of new names on it. High school football in the state of Arkansas continues to be impressive and the talent on the field is a good example of that fact. We are going to take a look at several newcomers to the 2024 rankings for the month of August. David Austin Reed David Austin Reed 5'10" | 155 lbs | QB Russellville | 2024 State AR -Quarterback-Russellville The Russellville Cyclones have a talented signal caller that debuts on our 2024 rankings for the August edition of the prospect rankings. Reed does a great job of hitting his wide receivers in stride. The young man moves around well in the pocket, and he knows when to escape the pocket to pick up extra yardage. Reed is always looking to find the open wide receiver. Reed has the potential to have an impressive 2021 football season. Keep an eye on this Cyclone he could rise rapidly this season. Skyler Purifoy-Tight End-Hot Springs Lakeside Purifoy is another talented player out of Hot Springs Lakeside. The young man is 6-5 and 195-pounds and is a nightmare to contend with in the red zone. He has the frame to support more weight and has the potential to become a nightmare at the tight end position. Purifoy is going to be a player to watch out for over the next few years. His versatility is what is going to set him apart and his ability to make difficult plays look easy have him rising through the rankings. Omar Murray Omar Murray 6'2" | 195 lbs | RB Fayetteville | 2024 State AR -Running Back-Fayetteville Murray has a knack for finding the right rushing lane and can make good defensive players look silly. He is extremely versatile and can catch the ball out of the backfield. Fayetteville has weapons all over the field and Murray is going to have an opportunity to pick up some big numbers running and catching the ball. Murray is going to be a player to keep an eye on over the next few years and this year has the potential to be a big one for the Fayetteville Bulldog. Mytorian Singleton Mytorian Singleton 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Bryant | 2024 State AR -Wide Receiver-Bryant Singleton is a wide receiver that can stretch the field for the Bryant Hornets. He runs consistent routes and has good hands. Singleton’s athletic ability is what will keep giving opposing defensive backs headaches over the next few years. The Hornets have built a powerhouse over the past few years and Singleton has the potential to turn into the go to receiver when a big play is needed on the offensive side of the ball. Charlie Vandenberg-Offensive Line-Ozark Vandenberg is another offensive lineman out of Ozark that is going to be a mainstay over the next few years. Vandenberg is a powerhouse when it comes to run blocking and he has good quickness. Vandenberg has several years to continue to improve and has the potential to become one of the top offensive linemen in the state of Arkansas. He is a player that should continue to shoot up the rankings over the next few months.
