Northern California Week 1: Top Performances

<em><strong>After the long awaited return of having a Fall football season, the wait is over and the Friday night lights are on across the country. Through out Northern California there were plenty of heavy weight matchups and stellar performances on both sides of the ball that we will breakdown below. </strong></em> <hr /> &nbsp; <em><strong>RB Donovan Parler, Folsom HS</strong></em> One of the most explosive backs in all of Northern California, Parlor proved he is poised for a huge season going for 10 yards per carry in his first Varsity game for the Bulldogs. Only a Junior, he will be one of the top backs in the 2023 class across the region over the next two years. &nbsp; <em><strong>QB Tyler Tremain, Folsom HS</strong></em> One of the best overall quarterbacks in the entire state, Tremain had another excellent performance against a tough Mustang defense on Friday night. He has plenty of weapons to throw to, but does a great job going through his progressions and delivering the ball downfield while very mobile outside the pocket as well. He is one of the most under-recruited players across the state and hopefully will see that change soon. &nbsp; <em><strong>LB [player_tooltip player_id="141938" first="Logan" last="Bowers"], Garces Memorial HS</strong></em> Bowers is another under-recruited player that is now a force on the offensive side of the ball. He is an athletic, physical and tough second level player that had 12+ tackles this weekend along with another 100+ yards on the ground and 5+ TFL’s.
