Prep Redzone look at some of the top offensive performances from the Aug. 27th thru 29th games.There are a good number of athletes that caught the eye of Prep Redzone New Jersey and will be added to the database in the upcoming months. <h2>AUGUST 28</h2> <strong>Asante Johnson | RB | Penn Grove</strong> Johnson ran the football 12 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-20 win for Penns Grove over Bernards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135815" first="Jaden" last="Craig"] | QB | Seton Hall Prep</strong> Craig got the job done both running and passing the football in a 51-7 Seton Hall Prep win over Pope John. Craig completed 7-of-11 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran the football four times for 70 yards and two touchdowns. <strong>Jaleel Patrick | RB | Penns Grove</strong> Patrick ran 18 times for 163 yards and one touchdown in a Penns Grove 40-20 win over Bernards. He also caught two passes for 39 yards and one touchdown. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="28027" first="Mike" last="Leanza"] | RB | Bernards</strong> Leanza carried the football 19 times for 146 yards and one touchdown in a 40-20 loss to Penns Grove. <strong>Nick Dunnerman | WR | Seton Hall Prep</strong> Dunnerman caught three passes for 73 yards and one touchdown against Pope John. <h2>AUGUST 27</h2> <strong>Ja’Son Prevard | QB | St. Joe’s Hammonton</strong> Prevard threw touchdowns passes of 64 yards and 36 yards in his team’s win against Northeast (PA). <strong>Cohl Mercado | RB | St. Joe’s Hammonton</strong> Mercado caught touchdow caught a 64-yard touchdown pass and ran in another from three yards against Northeast. <strong>Theodore Lockhart III | RB | Woodbury</strong> Lockhart had an incredible performance in his team’s 49-14 win over Maple Shade. Lockhart scored on touchdown runs of 10, 33, 99, and 8 yards in the blowout win for Woodbury. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136734" first="Zachary" last="Palmer-Smith"]</strong> | RB | Delran Palmer-Smith rushed for 162 yards and three touchdowns in Delran’s 27-14 win over Willingboro. He scored on touchdown runs of 10, 23, and 9 yards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="146477" first="Robert" last="Long"] | RB | St. Peter’s Prep</strong> Long had a strong debut win his team’s 61-0 win over Paramus Catholic. Long completed 7-of-11 passes for 192 and two touchdowns in his varsity debut for St. Peter’s Prep. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136731" first="Sam" last="Slade"] | RB | St. Peter’s Prep</strong> Slade made the most out of his 7 carries for 25 yards. He scored on touchdown runs of 1, 6, and 4 yards. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="146658" first="Michael" last="Miller"] | QB | Somerville</strong> Miller threw three touchdowns in Somerville’s 25-0 win over Olney Charter (PA). <strong>Nigel Tucker | WR | Somerville</strong> Tucker caught two touchdowns from Miller against Olney Charter (PA). <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="191032" first="Jaimen" last="Bryant"] | WR | Somerville</strong> Bryant returned a kickoff for a touchdown and returned a kick for a touchdown against Olney Charter (PA). <strong>Angelo Rodriguez | RB | Highland</strong> Rodriguez, who played at Camden High School last fall, made a strong debut for Highlight in it’s 42-0 win over Gloucester Catholic. He scored on four touchdowns runs to help Highland cruise to an easy season-opening win. <strong>Jacob Wilson | RB | Ocean City</strong> Wilson scored on touchdown runs of 3 and six yards in his team’s 21-0 win over Vineland. <strong>Tyree Thomas | QB | Paulsboro</strong> Thomas completed 9-of-13 passes for 124 yards and one touchdown in his team’s 18-3 win over West Deptford. <strong>Ronald Vaughan | RB | Egg Harbor</strong> Vaughn rushed 25 times for 142 yards and one touchdown in his team’s 14-0 loss to Mainland. <strong>Marc Gonzalez | RB | Carteret</strong> Gonzalez rushed six times for 62 yards and one touchdown in his team’s 37-0 win over J.P. Stevens. He also returned an interception for a touchdown. <strong>Kanya Groover | RB | Carteret</strong> Groover rushed five times for 112 yards and two touchdowns (75 and 15) in his team’s 37-0 win over J.P. Stevens. <strong>Lucas Goehringer | RB | Hammonton</strong> Goehringer scored on touchdown runs of 9 and 25 yards in his team’s 32-7 season-opening win over Absegami.
