With the summer winding down and preseason camps ready to begin Monday for New Mexico high schools, recruiting will continue at a fever pitch. After all, recruiting never ends, as any college coach will tell you. <strong> </strong>

-- 2025 Centennial WR/LB <strong>Jordan Lucas</strong> attended the College Coaches Showcase camp at Franklin High School in El Paso, TX on Saturday, as did 2023 Artesia QB [player_tooltip player_id="137932" first="Payton" last="Deans"].
-- 2022 Los Lunas DE <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134906" first="Mikkel" last="Beltran"]</strong> attended the same College Coaches Showcase camp in El Paso on Saturday. Beltran holds three offers.
-- 2022 Rio Rancho OL <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="26229" first="Cayden" last="Romero"]</strong> attended the Kansas State camp in Manhattan, KS this weekend.
-- Three Cibola players: QB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137861" first="Aden" last="Chavez"]</strong>, WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="134963" first="Nathan" last="Lopez"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137936" first="Branden" last="Castillo"]</strong> attended the Colorado State camp in Fort Collins, Co. this weekend.
-- 2022 St. Pius X DB/WR <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135303" first="Dominic" last="Esparza"]</strong> camped at Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma.
-- 2022 Albuquerque High DE <strong>Landon Williams</strong> was named DE MVP at Stephen F. Austin’s camp in Texas two weeks ago.
