Love, a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder, moved up to the No. 19 overall prospect in the updated Missouri Class of 2023 rankings despite missing his sophomore season with an injury. Love, who could see time at running back, wide receiver, safety and linebacker this fall, proved he was a Division I-caliber athlete with his impressive camp performances this offseason along with winning the Missouri Class 5 100-meter dash championship (10.76 seconds). His offseason helped him earn scholarship offers from Missouri and Eastern Illinois, but Love will have a chance to earn more when he finally shows what he can do on the field.
2. [player_tooltip player_id="103445" first="Austin" last="Romaine"], Hillsboro
A 6-3, 215-pounder, Romaine checks in as the No. 38 overall prospect in Missouri in the Class of 2023. He is coming off a strong sophomore season as a running back and a linebacker. Roberts, a 6-0, 190-pounder ranked as the No. 98 prospect in the updated Class of 2023 rankings, recorded 21 tackles and two sacks in just two games a year ago as a sophomore and could have a breakout season this fall as a linebacker and running back on a talented St. Mary's squad.
5. [player_tooltip player_id="181729" first="Devin" last="Conley"], Pembroke Hill
The No. 99 overall prospect in the Class of 2023 rankings, Conley is a 6-1, 175-pound wide receiver and defensive back and also a promising basketball player who was an all-district selection in both sports and could end up playing either sport in college. On the football field he is a playmaker with good size and speed who can turn short routes into big gains at every opportunity. He will be a fun athlete to watch throughout the 2021-22 school year.
