Maryland HS FB 2023 Rankings: Top Newcomers, Stock-Risers

Prep Redzone takes a look at the top newcomers and risers to the updated 2023 prospect rankings for the state of Maryland. On the newcomers side, these players were no brainers. On the risers side, several players saw their recruitment pick up over the summer. <strong>NEWCOMERS</strong> No. 9 [player_tooltip player_id="187933" first="Anthony" last="Little"] Little is well on his way to double-digit offers. He currently holds offers from Boston College, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Texas A&amp;M, and West Virginia. This was an oversight during the last updated rankings. No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id="187914" first="Spencer" last="Jones"] Jones has offers from West Virginia and Virginia Tech. No. 21 [player_tooltip player_id="187937" first="Tyler" last="Stewart"] Stewart has an offer from Maryland. He would've earned a spot on this initial list even if he didn't have an offer. I've been able to evaluate Stewart during two events including the All State Preps camp. He earned a spot on the top performers list at both of the events. He currently has offers from Cincinnati, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, and Pittsburgh. That move automatically landed him as one of the top prospects in his class. He has elite quickness when it comes to getting in and out of his breaks.
