<span style="font-weight: 400;">Savaiinaea was a constant physical presence on the edge for Cathedral Catholic as a junior. He’s a strong athlete at 6’1 220 lbs., who excels at fighting off blockers and setting the edge. He showed the ability to tackle sideline-to-sideline with good lateral speed lining up at OLB in the spring. I could see Savaiinaea adding weight to his frame and fitting in at ILB or as a dynamic edge player at the next level considering how disruptive he can be around the LOS. He currently holds offers from Colorado, Colorado St., and Hawaii with more likely heading his way.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Stearns is a long and rangy playmaker for St. Augustine’s defense. He’s a tremendous athlete at 6’4 210 lbs., with great footwork and a quick burst off the ball. He was impactful playing the edge last season beating blocks to make plays in the backfield and showed great instincts as a cut-back player. Stearns picked up several offers over the summer from Mountain West schools including San Diego St., San Jose St., and UNLV. His defensive playmaking will be exciting to watch this season as he already tallied two interceptions in St. Augustine’s first game against El Camino.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Letuli is another physical playmaker lining up opposite of fellow 3-4 OLB Savaiinaea on the Cathedral Catholic front seven. He provides a spark on defense with his high motor and instincts. He’s a strong, physical tackler that will consistently make pure effort plays. Letuli and Savaiinaea will be looking to build off a successful spring season in which Cathedral posted shutouts in 4 of their 5 games allowing a total of 14 points on the season. Expect more dominant performances from this front seven in the fall. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Edwards is currently ranked as one of the top juniors in California having already accumulated 13 offers from schools like Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC. He’s a monster at MLB for Mater Dei Catholic filling gaps aggressively, tracking down ball-carriers, and covering in space. He's extremely physical at the point of attack and uses his leverage well. Edwards is an elite prospect with an incredibly high ceiling.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Johnson’s a junior transfer from The Bishops School in La Jolla joining forces with the aforementioned Savaiinaea and Letuli as the physical presence between the tackles at ILB. Johnson seems comfortable in a new scheme after posting 8 solo tackles, 2 TFL and a forced fumble in his Cathedral Catholic debut vs. Torrey Pines (highlights below). He has the potential to be a dominant presence inside with his high motor and raw talent. He likes to play downhill and violently attack the ball-carrier. Johnson will certainly be making a name for himself this season as an impact player on a stacked defense that college coaches will be watching every week.</span>
