The Dale County Warriors opened the 2021 season on Friday with a 38-27 loss to the Ariton Purple Cats. Despite the loss, the Warriors had players on both sides of the ball that impressed.

Derrion Crossley | 6-3 WR

Crossley has a big frame and can catch any pass thrown his way. The 6’3” wideout has great hands and runs his routes well. He can also take handoffs in sweep packages and pick up rushing yards. Down the sideline, Crossley is tough to defend, especially if he gets into open space.

Alex Banks | 6-1 QB

Against Ariton, Ross hauled in a few deep passes where he got behind the defense and was open down the sideline.

Keviun Anderson | 5-8 RB

Anderson is a solid running back that shows great vision on the field. He can get into the second level of the defense and work for extra yards after contact.

Jaylon Dozier | 5-11 DB

Dozier has great athleticism and recorded an interception on Friday against Ariton. He can play well with receivers off the line of scrimmage and can force pass breakups on any route.
