Ian Seibert LB- Palm Harbor University
6’0 190lbs
Seibert had a productive 2020 season tallying 63 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one interception, 10 tfl, and one forced fumble. Seibert is one of the fastest linebackers I’ve seen on film this season, he’s very active and diagnoses plays extremely fast, and flies to the football. He’s very athletic and could easily translate to a safety at the next level. He should be even better in 2021.

Gavin Hughes- Alonso High c/o 23
6’0 180lbs
Hughes is Alonso’s leading returning tackler, last season he registered 39 tackles and a sack as a sophomore. He’s a versatile player that lined up on both sides of the ball last season. Shows the ability to play downhill and be a solid tackler. Should make big improvements in 2021

Cooper Weakley- East Lake High
6’0 200lbs
Weakly started for one of the best defenses in the area last season in East Lake, he finished with 30 tackles, 6 tfl, 2 sacks, and 7 QB hurries in 7 games. Does a good job sitting trip through traffic and getting to the football, shows good balance and stays on his feet, should good diagnose skills.

Josh Giddens- East Lake High c/o 23
5’11 190lbs
East Lake over the years has produced some very good Division 1 linebackers, and Giddens could be the next in line. He’s the top returning tackler on the team registering last season 63 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 9 QB hurries and 12 tfl. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any hudl film for me to evaluate.
Colin Bernstein- Steinbrenner
6’1 225lbs
Bernstein is a name to get familiar with this upcoming season, he had a very good Junior season finishing with 66 tackles and 1.5 sacks, he averaged over 11 tackles a game in only 6 games this year. Bernstein is an athletic sideline-to-sideline player, does a good job diagnosing plays quickly and sifting through traffic and getting to the ball, he is a good sized backer that shows physicality and will step up and fill the hole.

Zion Long- Steinbrenner High
6’0 200lbs
Long and Bernstein form one of the better linebacker tandems in the district, last season Long registered 27 tackles, 5 tfl, and 3 sacks. Long is an athletic player that can play in the box or flex out in to space, he shows a good closing burst and is a physical tackler driving through the ball carrier, will fight through blocks, and shows a very good ability to time his blitzes and accelerate to the ball. Long should be in line for a big season in 2021.
