Montgomery County is so talent-rich that there are some really good players that are not regarded among the county’s elite. These players have the potential to have a big breakout season and join that elite category.
<strong>Mamadou Sall Damascus</strong>
Sall is a big defensive end. He uses his size, strength, and power to toss blockers around. He needs to work on his pad level but he has all the tools to be a dominant edge.
<strong>Micajah Cobbs Blake</strong>
Cobbs is a key 2-way starter for Blake. On the offensive end, he is a back that possesses great vision and a fantastic burst. On the defensive end, he is a backer that excels in pass coverage. He is also great in his run fits and makes plenty of plays at or behind the line of scrimmage.
<strong>Logan Marsh Poolesville</strong>
Marsh is another important 2-way starter. He may not be the fastest player but what he lacks in speed he makes up for in ball skills and hands. On offense, he is a sure-handed receiver, while on defense he is a ball hawk safety.
<strong>Nico Sandoval Seneca Valley </strong>
Sandoval is a stud defensive back. He has amazing speed so he is able to keep up with any receiver. He excels in press coverage because of his solid technique and footwork. On offense and special teams, his speed makes him a real explosive weapon.

Brown is a very versatile receiver. He is a crafty slot guy, but standing at 6’3 he also has the height and size to line up on the outside.
<strong>Makhi Walker Quince Orchard</strong>
Walker is a solid outside receiver. He is a good route runner and is able to get himself open in 1 on 1 coverage. He also has soft hands and can make tough grabs.
<strong>Mateen Ibirogba Clarksburg</strong>
Ibirogba is an explosive interior lineman with a quick get-off on offense and defense. On offense, he uses his quick get-off to get inside and finish his blocks. On defense, he uses his quick get-off to finish off plays in the backfield.
<strong>Christian Piedrahita Quince Orchard</strong>
Piedrahita is a traditional run-stuffing defensive tackle. His role on Quince Orchard is to plug the gap and stuff any inside runs and he does a great job of doing it.
