<span style="font-size: 17px;">In this article </span><span style="font-size: 17px;">I’m going through and taking a look at some WRs that have impressed me with their abilities last season. Some I think are getting over looked and need to get attention. Here are some players that I’m watching that could make a valuable contribution at the next level.</span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">NOAH MERGERSON WR/KR 5’9" 160lbs KELLER FOSSIL RIDGE</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Mergerson is a shifty receiver that is electrifying after the catch. Screens and jet sweeps are fun to watch. Extraordinary speed and agility let’s him stop and start up again with ease. Dont leave your seat when he returns kickoffs, Mergerson is able to take it back for a touchdown on any given opportunity.</span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">MARK FULKERSON WR 5’10" 170lbs</span></strong>
<strong> <span style="font-size: 17px;">LAKE WORTH</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Fulkerson makes contested catches often and is a play making reciever after the catch. With great speed and Breaking through tackles, he gets up field in a hurry. Skills from time on the track really shows on the football field. </span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">POFELE ASHLOCK WR 6’2" 190lbs EULESS TRINITY</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Pofele is a very deceptive and shifty route runner. Spectacular ability to start and start, usually causing the defender to look around wondering where he went if not falling down from the mix up. Tracks the ball exceptionally well, Can get up to the second floor to catch footballs. Extremely elusive after the catch, separates quickly turning 10 yard comebacks into 70 yard touchdowns.</span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">CHRISTIAN HOGAN WR 5’11" 160lbs KELLER CENTRAL</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Hogan runs good routes and attacks the ball in the air when it comes his direction. After the catch hogan is trouble to bring down, with great balance during contact he is able to bounce off of would be tacklers and get up field.</span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">[player_tooltip player_id="130685" first="Nathaniel" last="Hill"] WR 6’4" 205lbs PARISH EPISCOPAL</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Hill is a fluid route runner finding open space consistantly. Looks really natural in and out of his breaks. Tracks the ball in the air and will make an all hands catch. Hill is a problem for DBs, with his size and quickness there is an obvious mismatch. If Hill is left 1v1 on a go route he will win every time.</span>
<strong><span style="font-size: 17px;">BRADEN MANNERS WR 5’8" 165lbs</span></strong>
<strong> <span style="font-size: 17px;">KELLER CENTRAL</span></strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Manners is a deep threat reciever that creates good separation downfield for his Quaterback. Not afraid of contact. Manners looks like a runningback after the catch, running through defenders to continue to get yards. This allows him to be effective on quick screens as well. Get him the ball and let him work.</span>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="122024" first="Jacob" last="Trimble"] WR/KR 6’ 180lbs FORT WORTH CHRISTIAN</strong>
<span style="font-size: 17px;">Trimble has outstanding speed to get behind opposing defensive backs before the ball is thrown. Runs great route and bursts into separation for his Quaterback to find him. Trimble is a deep threat, go’s and posts look really good. Extremely dangerous after the catch with a mean stiff arm and shiftiness.
