Dale County returns many of their star players including linebacker Cole Weed and quarterbacks Equali McClinton and Alexander Banks. Dale County could once again be a playoff team this season, and their schedule is indicative for enough wins to make the 4A playoff bracket.
Dale County has weapons on both sides of the ball to have success in 2021. The offense should improve from last season at all positons, and the defense could be one of the best in the Wiregrass area.
A few names to watch this season are Christian Ross, running back Preston Stevens, center Lucas Atkins and strong safety Dashion McGriff.
As the Warriors prepare for the season to kick off on August 20, the team will begin practice this week. Dale County has a strong schedule with a non-region home game against the Ariton Purple Cats to begin the season in just over two weeks.
