Today we looked at some of the top under-the-radar offensive linemen from around the state of Texas. Of all the prospects on this list, two hold FCS offers, and no one from the group has earned an FBS scholarship just yet. Look for that to change with standout performances this fall. Here’s who to know!

<em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="131506" first="Caden" last="Thrift"], 6’6", 320, <a class="uni-link--implied" href="https://www.hudl.com/team/v2/5432">Lampasas</a></strong></em>
A mammoth of a guard prospect, armed with a quick skip pull and a fierce punch. Thrift uses his size and a low pad level to dominate off the snap. Once he gets his hands on you, there's no getting away from him. He can drive down linemen straight off the football or work to the second level to secure blocks on linebackers.

<em><strong>Austin DeArmond, 6’4", 275, Reagan</strong></em>
On tape, Austin generates solid movement with pure strength and consistent knee drive. He's patient in pass protection and wins with his feet first & will look to shoot his hands after an initial move has been made. He does a good job passing off stunts in his vertical set and won't lunge at defenders in anticipation. This is an athletic pass protector who has no issues against speed rushers and is consistent in all facets of the game.

<em><strong>Tyler Lynch, 6’4", 275, Tompkins</strong></em>
A nasty tackle prospect who is a mauler in zone double teams. Lynch is a contact fiend who is always looking for work and will go one hundred & twenty percent from whistle to whistle. He's fantastic as a puller, dropping just about any unblocked defender that gets in his way. When he pancakes defenders, it looks downright violent on tape. He holds one FCS offer, but I expect that list to grow quickly.

<em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="131475" first="Ian" last="Langford"], 6’4", 265, Hebron</strong></em>
I was only able to find Langford's sophomore tape, but even that was enough to put him on this list. This is an effortless mover with some serious pop behind him. Ian plays with a mean streak and will stop at nothing until his opponent is lying on the turf. He plays with consistent hand placement and will steer his opponent where he wants to take them. He moves well laterally and can redirect against counter moves.

<em><strong>Gabriel Owen, 6’2", 305, Brennan</strong></em>
Gabriel may be on the shorter side from a vertical stature standpoint, but man, is he tough as nails. On tape, he dominates from the point of attack, creates vertical displacement before pancaking his opponent. He explodes off the football with his pads low and will roll hips after initial contact has been made. This kid plays fearless and will put his body on the line in the blink of an eye to secure a critical run.

<h2 class="uni-headline--1"></h2>
<em><strong>Anfernee Crease, 6'4", 270, Tomball Memorial</strong></em>
On tape, Crease does an adequate job securing blocks by getting his second step in the ground quickly and using short choppy steps to move defenders. He's quick out of his stance and fires off the ball, generating serious force on opposing defensive linemen. He moves well for a man his size and could provide value in offenses that employ dart schemes. He shows no issues blocking in space and can help spring a big play in the screen game.
