We’re looking at some TE’s that have a ton of potential and what their futures could look like.
[player_tooltip player_id="97998" first="Jeffrey" last="Simmons"] - Fishers - 6’6" 203 lbs
Simmons is a very athletic player and that’s the first thing that pops out to you when you flip the tape on. He’s got great speed and doesn’t take too long to get going. He's also a star basketball player for Fishers. He can seal the edge and pass block when needed. However, he is very light. He could really use a summer in the weight room. He’s listed as a 3-star recruit with offers from Miami, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, and Indiana.
[player_tooltip player_id="98061" first="Max" last="Sullivan"] - Whiteland Community Schools - 6’6" 235 lbs
Sullivan is another athletic beast. He’s able to fly around without too much effort. He doesn’t have the best blocking ability but his hands do pack a punch. He’s listed as a 2-star recruit and has multiple offers. He’s got eyes from D1 schools and coaches who match the skillset Sullivan has. Those offers are from Ball State, Central Michigan, and Illinois State.
[player_tooltip player_id="98062" first="Tyler" last="Dostin"] - Danville Community - 6’3" 235 lbs
Dostin has a nice frame and can be a passing and blocking TE. He’s coming off of a 1st team all-state award. He’s able to line up out wide and play WR when needed. He also has soft hands and always nicely cradles the ball when it comes to him. He’s a 3-star recruit with offers from Kent State, Akron, Eastern Kentucky, and Grand Valley State.
[player_tooltip player_id="97823" first="Cael" last="Vanderbush"] - Plainfield High School - 6’6" 200 lbs
Cael is a natural athlete. He’s a WR, TE, and a star basketball player. He is a jumper. He’s someone who can jump out of the gym and dunk and then on the football field go up and catch any contested ball. He jumps and then just seemingly floats there. He has the speed to play outside and reportedly runs a 4.6. I’m not sure if I think the 4.6 matches, but I do know that he can absolutely fly. He’s 6’6" and returned a kick for a TD last year. He’s listed as a 2-star recruit, which I think is a little low, but he has offers from Air Force and Western Michigan.
