Because the Class of 2022 didn’t get the full recruiting experience – with no spring in 2020 and no college coaches watching in 2021, there is a need to get these athletes out there for all to see.
For Orlando Freedom head coach Joe Siragusa and his staff, the belief is that if you can get this senior class on the radar – the underclassmen will follow.
Coming off a 3-6 season during the pandemic, the Patriots played on the positives – as the program started to come together.
Wins over Orlando Cypress Creek and Celebration, may not have been earth-shattering to some, but to this program and that Class of 2022, it meant that the 2021 season would see football players who worked hard, took some lumps, but in the end, came out of it and used the motivation during the spring and summer.
The Class of 2022 had some impressive talent. Players such as Blake Birchler (QB, 6-4, 195), Gio Frongillo (Slot/Athlete, 5019, 185) and running back Roshaun Dudley (5-8, 210), who this team has a chance to rally around.
This team also believes that prospects like Mike Garcia (WR/Athlete, 5-10, 175), Giovanni Frongillo (DL, 6-0, 285), Jordan Fair (WR, 6-4, 180) and defensive tackle Trey Sept (6-1, 310) will be huge in not only productivity, but also vital to leading the underclassmen.
