Southeast Michigan is loaded with OL that you should put on your docket to watch this fall. These guys have some big potential and we are taking a look at some of them.
Jakobe Watkins - Belleville - IOL - 6’3" 290 lbs
Watkins is a true Guard and will never play outside. He’s built just like you would dream a Guard to be built. He’s very flexible and has a strong grip at the point of attack. He’s a 3-star recruit with offers from Southeast Missouri State, Arkansas State, and Grambling State. He’s very heavily leaning towards Southeast Missouri State for his playing decision at the next level.
[player_tooltip player_id="30140" first="Ka’Marii" last="Landers"] - Fordson - OT - 6’5" 300 lbs
Landers right now is all potential. He’s super raw but he has the size and tools to become a big-time OT prospect at the next level. He doesn’t bend that well and sometimes seems stiff with his upper body but that could be corrected with the right coaching. He’s great at setting the edge and building a wall. He’s a 3-star recruit with offers from Kentucky and Michigan State. He has other offers but he’s narrowed it down to those 2 schools.
[player_tooltip player_id="80492" first="Brady" last="Ploucha"] - Divine Child - OT - 6’5" 270 lbs
Every now and then you come across a guy you just know is going to work before he even gets to campus. Sometimes players just have that "It" factor and that’s Ploucha. He’s a true tackle and is very refined. He carries himself like a true meat-head OL and he’s obsessed with football. He’s a 3-star recruit going to Central Michigan. He’s fun to watch and would recommend watching him.
[player_tooltip player_id="30143" first="Jackson" last="Pruitt"] - Cass Technical - IOL - 6’5" 285 lbs
Pruitt has the size and ability to be either a Guard or a Tackle. That all depends on when he gets to college what the coaches think. He’s well-built, physical, and sometimes a little chirpy. His teammates love it and they feed off of it. He’s a 3-star recruit with offers from Central Michigan, Buffalo, and Bowling Green. His future is wide open right now.
[player_tooltip player_id="30277" first="Levi" last="Harber"] - Montrose High School - OT - 6’5" 265 lbs
Harber is a little light for a Tackle but he will put weight on when he gets to college. He’s great at setting the edge and eliminating his man. He bends well for his size. He’s somewhat raw but he just needs a few things cleaned up. He’s a 3-star recruit with offers from Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, and Purdue. He has the potential to play on Sundays if he gets the right coaching. I’m excited to see where he ends up going to school.
