SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT: Chris Graves Jr. Is A Special Player
Our objective during the summer months, leading up to the 2021 season is to ensure that you will always have something fresh to check out.
From our TEAM PREVIEWS to daily prospect watch blogs, we have you covered. But we wanted to add a FREE blog each weekend to show those who are NOT subscribers exactly the things that you miss every day. NOBODY can provide you the daily content and social media exposure that promotes and just does not follow.
What we are going to bring your way is a look at a football talent that may not be a household word, but should be!
We hope you enjoy this something extra that will bring you back to not only check out our website, but also our social media on Twitter – where everyone is interactive (@PrepRedzoneFL).
THE GRAVES FILE
Chris Graves
POSITION: CB/WR
CLASS: 2022
SCHOOL: Fort Myers Bishop Verot
HEIGHT: 6-2
WEIGHT: 175
HEAD COACH: Richie Rode
WHAT ARE COACHES MISSING: There’s a few Bishop Verot games from 2020 where you say to yourself that regular athletes do not make plays like that.
That is the first time that everyone across the country began to watch this versatile football talent who combines all the positives that will be needed to not only play at the next level, but also dominate the competition – on both sides of the ball.
Headed to the University of Miami as part of the next class (2022) of football talent that will be going to colleges and universities across the country – starting next January.
What the Hurricanes are getting with this impress talent is someone who will stick with the best receivers, often locking them down. He is that athletic and that skilled. His quickness and long frame assists in making so many key plays for a program that battled some of the elite teams this past season.
His quickness, skill and knowledge of the cornerback position is going to get him into the rotation quicker in Coral Gables.
While is waiting to head south, there is a season to be played – and while there are many pieces that need to be replaced – this is the kind of leader that brings teams together.
As a receiver, he’s exactly what you would expect from someone who can run, is athletic and plays in the defensive secondary. He gets open and is not afraid to mix it up and fight for ball.
No matter how this coming season develops for the Vikings, you know that Graves is going to be there – making a difference from anywhere on he field.
