Iowa’s reshuffled 3A class is going to be ultra competitive and there will be a ton of talent taking the field at the end of August. On behalf of Prep Redzone, here is your preseason All-State team. These young men are already quite accomplished and will no doubt be adding some big things to their resumes. The 2021 season will unquestionably feature big things from these players. *Organized by position in no particular order Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id="104079" first="Tyler" last="Smith"], Sergeant Bluff-Luton, C/O 2023, 5’10, 175, hudl, Twitter Smith is one of the best and most refined passers in the entire state; it doesn’t hurt that he is dynamic on the ground either. He is so on point with the timing and placement of his balls. Smith can drop back and dismantle the best coverage. Running Back [player_tooltip player_id="152685" first="Devionne" last="West Jr"], Bishop Heelan, C/O 2023, 5’8, 200, hudl, Twitter West knows how and when to hit a gap regardless of the blocking scheme he is running behind and does so as explosively as anyone in the state. He bursts to top speed in a flash. West’s contact balance and leg drive is absolutely elite. Wide Receiver [player_tooltip player_id="99142" first="Connor" last="Frame"], Harlan, C/O 2022, 6’2, 190, hudl, Twitter Frame has game speed that rivals anyone he could line up next to or across from in Iowa. He sustains that speed through his routes and after the catch, which makes him scary. Frame demands extra attention in coverage and makes plays anyway. [player_tooltip player_id="23972" first="Caeden" last="Da Silva"], Nevada, C/O 2022, 6’3, 190, hudl, Twitter Da Silva is one of the top vertical threats in the entire state and, with his frame and catch radius, there isn’t much he can’t go and get. He maintains noticeably excellent sprint mechanics in his routes. Da Silva is a master at getting behind coverage. Tight End [player_tooltip player_id="104754" first="Max" last="Weaton"], Fairfield, C/O 2023, 6’6, 205, hudl, Twitter Weaton is so big, fast, and in control of his movements;
